Today the dream was painful.
I dreamed we were old
Because the roots of your hair showed time
And we had small conversations
In front of a friend of mine
And abruptly you stood up while my eyes still shine
To hug someone lovingly who just came by
“Angel,” everyone in the room called
I remembered I stood up and walked fast downstairs
I almost cried when my soul reminded me it’s time to be awake

Quote
Nature is busy creating absolutely unique individuals, whereas culture has invented a single mold to which all must conform. It is grotesque.

Quote
Someone asked me what home was and all I could think of were the stars on the tip of your tongue, the flowers sprouting from your mouth, the roots entwined in the gaps between your fingers, the ocean echoing inside of your ribcage.
E.E. Cummings (via quotemadness)
