Needless to say, Rob and Timothee are going to have a blast when they start filming The King for David Michod. The two have been acquainted since at least last November, when they were photographed sitting together at the Academy’s Governor’s Awards. They cemented their friendship/working relationship at Vogue’s Film and Fashion party in London on Feb. 18th, 2018.

More details emerged today about the Vogue Fashion and Film party Robert Pattinson and many of his friends attended at Annabelle’s last night, February 18th. This Vogue and Tiffany’s co-hosted after-BAFTAs party is the London version of the exclusive Vanity Fair after-Oscars party in Los Angeles.

Co-hosts Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss and 12 Year’s a Slave Oscar-winning director Steve McQueen welcomed Rob and the elite of the film and fashion world. Lady Bird director Greta Gerwig was among the guests, along with Rob’s new The King co-star, Timothee Chalamet, Idris Elba, Princess Beatrice, designer Manolo Blahnik, Tom Holland, Riz Amhed (photographed with Rob), and Taz Fustok, an artist and entrepreneur who is seen in video of the party talking to Rob. Get Out star Daniel Kaluuya was also there (and he recently told GQ that Good Time was his favorite film of 2017 and said Rob did an outstanding job).

The party took place at Annabelle’s, and most of the ladies in evening gowns had come directly from the BAFTAs, including Rob’s Bel Ami co-star, Kristin Scott Thomas, Sienna Miller, Naomi Watts, Salma Hayek, Felicity Jones, Noomi Rapace, Elle Fanning, Lily James, Ruth Wilson, Gemma Areterton, and Zendaya. Others guests coming over from the awards ceremony included Chiwetel Ejiofor and Will Poulter.

Rob had flown to London on the 17th from the Berlin Film Festival, where Damsel had premiered in competition. His next film, The Lighthouse, for director Robert Eggers begins filming in the Spring, so he could be on location as soon as March, which is in about 10 days. Original post about this party here.
