Adam looked down at her as she bounced or more like her breast as they bounced. It wasn't often that anyone saw this side of her. The happy, non murderous side of her, and while he loved that side of her, he loved this carefree side as well. Not that he would ever actually say that.

He had convinced himself that love was a weakness. After everything that happened, his two wives he refused to love, but there was something different about Lute. She was loyal and generally made him happy but that word would never cross his mouth.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, let me get changed so I can this over with." Adam turned around and walked to his bedroom. It was a mess, but he could easily find his outfit that he wore in public, mask included.

Teeth squeezed her lower lip in anticipation as he spent a few moments to contemplate, hands roaming underneath her shirt again. She made no effort to deter them, instead enjoying the feeling of his caaloused fingers grazing her midrift. Honey eyes searched him, her breath soft and shallow as she agonized over his oncoming answer. When his eyes finally caught and held hers, gold reflecting gold, he conceeded.

Her smile widened into an excited display of emotion usually unseen by her as she giddily bounced up and down, laughter ringing in the otherwise empty apartment. It looks like she was going to have to have enough cheer for both of them, but this was a start! She didn't care how much he complained as long as he went.

"Yes! Yes! Yes!"

Was Adam egotistical enough to have a tree with decorations with his face all over it? Yes, he was, and Lute knew that and used that to her advantage. He just looked at her, ready to say no. He was ready to stand by his word until she used one thing that he really couldn't say no to. Her body.

His hands rested on her waist, his hands moving under her shirt, and his fingers traced over her skin. His eyes met hers, and he sighed. "Fine, but I'm not going to be happy about it."

Fumbling her keys just a little while she balanced her pile of gifts, she finally heard it slot into the keyhole and turned to unlock it, pushing the door open with her foot. She was greeted with his impatience at being ignored but stood up to help her even with his typical grinchy attitude.

"Yea, I couldn't really reach my phone and you know there aren't." She set the remaining packages and bags on the kitchen counter. "But.... there might be something you can take off me later."

She looked around once her hands were free, shoulders dropping with with a ghost of a pout and a sigh at the realization of...

"No tree? Really? Where am I supposed to put all these?"

Adam didn't let her swatting away his hands deter him as his large hands went right back to attempting to take off her clothes. "Well, that's stupid. How am I meant to take it off to you if it's not on you."

"That's not what i meant." He groaned out, knowing that she wouldn't give up. This was the only time of year that they had a disagreement about anything. "I'm not getting anything to celebrate that fuckers birth."

When the Cake was placed on the counter, Niffty climbed up his body, resting on his back as she looked at the caterpillar shaped cake.

"It's a bug!" She squealed and wrapped her arms around his neck and gave him a tight hug as a thanks.
