I hate how in various forms of media consumption, many people are like pigs. They will happily eat any slop that is thrown in their trough by major record labels/big movies studios/AAA video game publishers. And some of these little pigs don't even care about the quality of person who makes this stuff. As long as they are entertained...that's all that matters to them.

The casting for the Borderlands movie is bizarre.

Jamie Lee Curtis is playing a character who is not only just a side character in the games, but is also about 30 years younger.

Cate Blanchett is about 20 to 30 years older than the character she is playing.

Kevin Hart is playing a character who isn't really trying to be funny in the games. But, Hart is known for being a comedic actor.

Choosing Krieg to be one of the main characters of the film is also strange. Why not Brick? And where is Mordecai?

I don't know...I have a bad feeling about this movie.

I don't think AI generated images are always bad. I think in certain situations they are perfectly fine.

I think it's ok to use AI for dumb little things like userpics or profile headers on social media. I mean, people normally either use pictures of things they took themselves or they take images from things they like (but they are not pictures they made). So I don't see the harm in using AI there.

I also don't think it's wrong to use AI to create references to use to make actual art. But, I don't think it's ok to just generate an image in AI and then put it out there pretending you're an artist.

Now, when it comes to things that are for monetary gain...then we have a problem. Using AI for...

-Album art.

-Promotional materials for any form of media (movies, tv shows, video games).

-For creating art assets for video games.

-For trying to create fake pictures of real people.

-For trying to deceive people into thinking someone (or some people) have done something they did not do.

So apparently there is Taylor Swift AI porn being posted on Twitter right now.

The irony is...the only reason I know that is because Taylor Swift fans in a incredibly misguided effort to protect their false god have only brought more attention to the situation.

The Swifities have been posting tweets with random stuff using the hashtag "Taylor Swift AI" in an effort to try to bury the AI porn. But, all they have done is make the term "Taylor Swift AI" trend. Which means now more people know about what is going on. They would've been better off saying nothing and letting this just sink in the algorithm so it wouldn't get as much attention, but no...the cult of Taylor Swift were not capable of thinking that far ahead, apparently.

The only reason Taylor Swift is as popular as she is is because she is the best the record industry can do right now for mainstream listeners. Had she been around in the 80s or 90s making the music she is now...she would've been a one hit wonder at best.

How to tell people you don’t watch Marvel movies without saying it.

I get that Marvel movies might not be your thing...and that’s fine, but to have to make up shit because you need to convince yourself that your opinion is the “right opinion” is really sad.

I don’t hate Joan Jett, but I do question why she is treated like a legend in music. Every hit she’s ever had was just a cover song. Did she ever have a single song that was popular that was of her own creation?

To me, if you are going to be treated like you are a rock legend...you have to have done it through your own art...not someone else’s.

I don’t have a problem with cover songs, but your entire career shouldn’t be that.

Kind of weird how the best episodes of The Book of Boba Fett...barely have Boba Fett in them or even at all.

I’m pretty disappointed in Peter Dinklage for this. And let’s be honest here...he’s only saying this because he doesn’t want to burn bridges in the entertainment industry. In other words, he doesn’t want to lose possible career opportunities for himself in the future.

To pretend that people were mad with the final season because there were not “happy endings” is just absurd. Did you even watch the show you were on, Peter? I mean, for god sakes...in the very first season they kill off a main character. In season 3, they kill off two main characters. The audience of this show never expected happy endings...they expected good writing. That means having logical reasons for things to happen...which season 8 was lacking.

And that “pretty white people” comment. What the hell is that? Nobody was watching this show because of the race of the people on it. They were watching it because it was...and I emphasis was...a show with really good storytelling.

But, go on Peter...tow that line. Don’t ruffle the feathers of the people that hire you...just shit on the people who are your fans and are part of the reason you have your success.
