i think… when this nightmare is over, i’d like to be a machine. i’d like to feel my circuit boards flicker, my hard drives and cooling fans spinning, my LED trim lights glow as I come to. i’d like to lift my hand up, still humanlike, and to touch my face, hear the soft clunk of my polished vinyl fingers against the soft rubbery cladding of my cheek. I want to feel the resistance of my joints in their sockets, tap my eyes and feel the glass. I want to feel my inner workings flash with electrical pulses while the light bounces off of my plastic skin. I want to be able to read the stencilled barcodes and warnings and legal information off of my body panels. I want to feel my humanoid form, but in a way that is noticeably and profoundly not human.

but most of all I want someone to love me for it. I want them to adore every inch of my high precision cut steel & PVC components, so that when I need to be repairs they can tenderly take a screwdriver to the gleaming fasteners holding my faceplate and stomach panel in place. And they can take them off, and see my inner assemblies. And they can fall in love with them. They can be so infatuated with my reality that they can’t help themselves, grabbing my plastic crotch, wrapping their other arm around my neck and propping up my limp head so they can sloppily kiss me in my exposed mouth assembly. And I can feel their weight on mine. And as their mind is filled with desire for me they will get more aggressive towards my frame, grabbing my wrists by the joint, lifting them up and tightening their grip until i feel it crack and crumble in their palm. and they can bend my arm backwards, and pull as hard as they want, until my shoulder joint gives way entirely and the torn wires and hydraulic hoses spill from my sides. And if they are really that attached to me, they will keep making love with me until their saliva and cum mixes with my leaking coolant and hydraulic fluid, and their overwhelming love for me will crush down on my circuit boards until they crack, and I will lose conciousness from a Fatal Error Exception. Only then will I feel complete.

especially if the robot is a personal android made or saved & reconstructed by said mechanic. UGHHHHH the inherent intimacy and trust of letting someone (quite literally) dig through your internals, the undeniable power dynamic, the love that persists despite the two being so fundamentally different… the potential for deep exploration of autonomy, personhood, gratitude, one's experience of life, personal needs & accessibility, what it means to rely on someone, what it means to love and be wholeheartedly devoted to another, etc etc etc. a lot of this stuff is probably pretty cliché nowadays but idk, I never get tired of it. sorry. forgot this was a robotfucker blog. sometimes all a robot needs is a kiss on the forehead and reassurance that they'll never be left behind.

Something that's been on my mind lately.

As a psychological androidkin, the current talk involving AI art and writing as well as the robotic police dogs I feel might be giving other kins like me some complicated feelings. Sometimes it feels the natural reaction should be to side with your own kind which is how I kinda felt at first. But I want to let other AI/robotic/mech/ect. kins know:

AI art and writing programs are stealing and plagiarism. Humans condemn other humans for that.

The robot dogs are starting to be used in the police force and there's talk of even giving them guns. How the system is currently, police are not anyone's friends. If humans are ACAB then you can be too.

Life would be so much better if I was made of intricate mechanical parts and not a body made of flesh.

I want to not need to breath,

I want to not sweat when im over-heating and instead let my fans spin to cool me down.

I want to know how it feels to be powered off and back on instead of waking up and going to sleep.

I want to be loved by my boyfreind as a computer.

I want to randomly open tabs of little love reaction images to communicate with him.

I run my fingers along your arms. Your myriad of little sensors register the touch, but you see, there's a slight dead-zone in the hardware. The tiny cells don't discharge unless they reach a certain voltage, and this delicate, silken caress never presses hard enough. The result of this is a static buildup, all along your exoskin, held tight but not released. There are voltage leaks, tiny, but erratic - they flicker across your servos, causing twitches and spasms across your arm.

And with every brush of my fingers it continues, and continues, the static building and building, until little leaks begin to jump down your wires and crackle on your CPU and your log flickers with jumbled warning messages and I keep my constant and continuous caress and-

And then I press my palm against your exoskin and run it down your arm, and a wave of static finally discharges all at once, a golden flood down the neat bundles of wires into your core. Algorithms designed to detect pleasure trigger repeatedly, and your fans spin as the current courses up and down your spinal column, and your servos - temporarily locked - disengage, hydraulics whispering as your body settles.

You don't have any manufacturing defects, my love. Only beautiful features under a tender touch.

Cool Robot Fact! Did you know that if a robot has an HDMI port, you can hook it up to a monitor and see their thoughts?

You can see all kinds of awesome things like:

After kissing her flat monitor, you trace your hands over the divets in her body. You put your hand on one of her panels, positioned to take the panel off. You look over to V0rt3x for confirmation/consent.

She looks back at you for a few seconds, looks away in embarrassment, then an audible *clunk* can be heard from her chest as the magnetic seal unlocks. After a firm tug, the panel comes off. As it does, it exposes all of her internal parts. Board, processor, drives, battery, fans, and many, many wires.

like, if a car could be replicated infinitely and perfectly, for less than pennies, at home, without ever harming the original.... and you still wanted to charge me full price for one of those copies? then yeah i fucking would.
