I love that Half Life has been around for so long and people have never stopped playing it so it never had a period of inactivity long enough to ever get a 'renaissance', that it's graphics have gone from state of the art, to dated, to outdated, to retro, to 'This could be a modern game with a deliberate art style choice'.
