III in Eden

I think my fave part of Vessel missing his cue to go play Rain is the way at NO point does the audience ever even waver. He just stands there and everyone keeps hooting and hollering. He puts his hand on his hip and it gets louder, like he just performed some kind of daring feat. He turns shamefacedly around and starts shuffling off and the crowd breaks into the kind of rhythmic claps and whooping usually reserved for the third encore. There is nothing he can do at this point to put his crowds off their sole task, which is to consistently and loudly fold like a warehouse full of broken lawn chairs every show for that muscular 6ft 3 babygirl, no matter how much absolute dweebery he commits in front of God and everyone. Get absolutely adored, you soggy little man

Gods is such an underrated song!

The sudden switches between harsh vocals and soft instrumentals/vocals? Insane

The god tier drums? Don't get me wrong, ii's drums are always insane but they are a focus and a main part of the song and can be even more appreciated (and that snare? 👀)

THE LYRICS??

'I see the gods avert their gaze from me. My fucking form is but a wreck beneath them' (the fact that he swears? Beautiful)

And don't even get me started on the heavy breathing at the end...
