"the old days"? So all the episodes are canon, and it was a time loop sort of deal? Is Flaky the only one who remembers?
Long story short, Flaky got rid of the source that caused The Old Days. There are a couple of things that got messed up as a result, but at least everyone has a proper chance at living normally.
Sadly, she still remembers everything that happened before things got better.
