A little mlpfim AU I made awhile ago that I decided I liked enough to show here. This is the first half of the main six, I'll post the others in a bit. The concept is that their cutie mark concepts are switched around, but I wanted to make them fulfilled with their destinies/jobs, unlike that one episode in the show.

Twilight Horizon/Twilight Sparkle: Princess Luna's sole student, Twilight Horizon is as secluded and reserved as her mentor. Her interest in the constellations extends to her magic--she is best at spells that use forces of nature, particularly moon/star/night components. Luna has unofficially adopted her, making her an alicorn not because of her skill but because she loves her and wishes for her to be as long-lived as she is.

Twilight has not yet moved to Ponyville.

Rainbow Macaw/ Rainbow Dash: Ponyville's resident bird expert, Rainbow Macaw spends her time training and rehabilitating birds. She is very passionate about her work, often berating those who do not care for their pets, and has an extensive collection of books on avians. Her skills in flight are well known, but Rainbow Macaw prefers to fly a bit slower these days--always mindful about crashing into flying fauna.

Orchard Bloom/ Rarity: Striking out perhaps somewhat foolishly, Orchard Bloom has moved from her home in Canterlot to buy a small orchard in the outskirts of Ponyville. She has been in love with caring for and breeding plants since she visited the royal gardens as a child, and now wishes to peruse her hobby and dream on a larger scale. She may not always be used to dirt, or how long it takes to get from her farm to the village, but she's determined to learn!

I hope everyone will have a good new year’s eve and a happy new year. But for my friend Nader @abdalsalam1990, new year’s eve will be yet another day of fearing for his life from bombs and struggling to get food and clean water in Gaza. He is only seventeen years old and works so hard to share his family’s story so they can get the money they need to survive and eventually evacuate when the border opens. Their situation is very urgent because his brother Abdulsalam’s daughter Iman is only one year old and suffers from malnutrition because of the genocide, and his father Ahmed has cancer and needs treatment to survive.

URGENT: FUNDRAISING FOR BREAST CANCER TREATMENT

I have tried my absolute best not to seek financial help online, especially when our collective focus should be aimed towards the welfare of our Palestinians, Congolese, and Sudanese brothers and sisters. I truly have considered countless options before resorting to asking for monetary assistance but I no longer have the means to keep myself alive and my little family afloat. Following my father's death almost three years ago due to colorectal cancer, I was diagnosed late last year with Stage 2A breast cancer.

There's an even elaborate explanation on the fundraising page that I will be attaching in this post. Please, take some time to read it. I am our family's breadwinner, and I am only asking for monetary assistance because I no longer have a job/source of income nor is my previous company willing to shoulder my medical expenses. I am left to fend for myself and I have used all of my savings to afford numerous physical/health examinations and the prescribed medication.

I am going to attach photos of how disfigured my right arm now is, the evident lumps/tumors on my armpits and if you want proof of how the cancer affected my breasts, please directly message me. I don't think I can explicitly share the photos here. But to put enough context, my left breast shrunk into at least 1/3 of its original size.

I am sincerely sorry for being a bother, but if you have the means to donate to my fundraising post, please do. I badly needed all the help I can get so I won't be summoned to court and would be able to afford surgery on time. If you cannot donate, please kindly share this post. This flour, which is supposed to be a source of life, has become a symbol of disappointment. I contemplated the scene with a pang in my chest; the scene was not new, but it grew more cruel each time. How can we make clean bread for our children from flour filled with insects?

Gaza is not only a besieged land, but it is a place where hope is killed day after day, even in the most basic human rights. We were waiting for this flour impatiently as if it were a precious treasure, but it came to remind us that everything in our lives is now conditional on new suffering.

I looked at the flour again, and imagined the children in Gaza, who dream of a hot loaf of bread on their poor tables. A simple loaf that they do not know that the path to it is fraught with pain and disappointment.

I wrote these words to tell you the story of flour, but it is not just flour; it is part of the story of Gaza, the story of every mother who struggles, every child who waits, and every young man who dreams of a better tomorrow in a land that refuses to surrender despite everything.

I am Abdel Qader, writing from Gaza, from the heart of the suffering that is trying to steal our dignity, but we stay here, dreaming, and resisting.

i cannot explain how dire the situation in gaza is. no food, no clean water, flimsy tents, worsening weather, skyrocketing prices, polio infected sewage, rampant disease, increased bombing, death everywhere.

there is a massacre every single fucking day. the occupation commits crimes more heinous than before. the death toll is just heart breaking. children are being robbed of their childhood and families are being ripped apart.

life has been violently disrupted for palestinians. they've been forced to plead to strangers on the internet for help. help in saving the lives of their family and children, all traumatized by the genocide.

I'm making this poll to highlight the campaign of Mohammed Alanqar @famousturtlebanana . The Alanqar family, like every family in Gaza, is going through a lot, and they don't have the luxury of sitting down to watch a comforting TV show whenever they please.

Mohammed messages me updates regularly and sends me photos of his children. His son Adam has hepatitis and his son Amir has severe foot blisters. They are living in a tent that frequently gets flooded and rained in.

If you could help out my friend, that would be the greatest comfort of all.
