What are your thoughts on an isekai of STP with the Player as a knight? Someone who doesn’t know the story and is just trying to run away from this scary bird thing, finds themself in a cabin with a knife and also there’s some prom girl chained up in the basement, so now the Knight is trying to protect themself and this girl from the Monster. (The princess and the dragon and the knight) been in my head ever since I saw the name of the chapter and I love knights, dragons, and isekai stories so the concept is haunting me

well, first of all, we have to consider the particular nature of the construct, and the princess herself. while i don't think it would be an issue for the knight to see the long quiet, it would definitely be an issue for them to see the princess, since the echo states that a mortal seeing her would force her to realize her true identity, as that would be how they would perceive her.

there are two possibilities that you can go with this: one is that they lack their godhood, removing the possibility of altering anyone's forms; two is that the knight is a god themself, removing the inevitability of the princess awakening.

my preferred method would be the former, but i know that the latter is the most common route to go with isekai stories. the reason why the first option is my preferred one, though, is because it feels like a fresh new take on the story, rather than taking what's already there and forcing a new entity into it, you know? i think that it could be a lot of fun like that!

with ideas like these, i think that it's fun to step outside of the mold and really bend your mind, so if it's something that you're looking to write, then don't be afraid to deviate from canon so that the story can work!

thank you for the only paraskep content not made by or for me specifically. this is so huge for me. i love them so bad. i also have sort of a modern au but its not modern and they're still in a construct of sorts. but skeptic is a detective and paranoid is his secretary and they're roommates and they share a bed and they kiss but they dont really label themselves beyond "partners". and im rlly glad sum1 else sees the vision. the paranoid version of the cage made me go fucking insane when i first played it and i havent stopped thinking about it since.

I liked the idea of their dynamic pre-cage... a shaking rambling guy (who was completely correct) and a rational, reserved guy (who was completely incorrect)

for my au, Skeptic is a lead detective or a lawyer or whatever and Paranoid is a crime scene detective (he goes over and looks at dead bodies, which is where he gets to say hi to Nightmare at the morgue)

They work together very often and moved in together for whatever platonic reason. They see each other as friends or just colleagues, but their behavior around one another isn't very platonic...(they freak it)
