In A Ditch Under A Rusty Train BridgeThe Ultraesthetic project was initially conceived as a vessel for the atmospheric jungle I was writing a few years ago. Now, it's expanded into an outlet for everything I can't do in WOLF DEM. That said, there's more overlap between the two now than earlier, as WOLF DEM itself has moved in a more abstract and noise-based direction. For lack of a better phrase, Ultraesthetic is my "sad bastard music" project. It may seem stylistically all over the place, but for me the Ultraesthetic work is still thematically consistent: dark, abstract music that is turned away from the dancefloor and downcast rather than aggressive. -Ultraesthetic
