3D printing
The idea to 3D print for medical usage began in late 1990s early 2000s.From that point on, the technology has gotten more and more precise.
3D printing was designed to replace certain biological components needed for humans in situations where organs couldn鈥檛 be donated, limbs were lost or damaged beyond repair.
3D printing is being used for certain medical purposes such as replacing tissues ,organs, making prosthetics, and other medical devices. Things like blood vessels simply wouldn鈥檛 regenerate so 3D printing has made it possible to replace said damage.3D printing also makes personally designed prosthetic limbs specifically designed to a person to make it as comfortable as possible.
On the downside, using a 3D printer is environmentally damaging and unsustainable. The technology uses a high amount of energy and increases plastic waste. While 3D printers are expensive, they aren鈥檛 unattainable. This device could end up in the wrong hands and could be used to make a harmful weapon and create counterfeit products.Increased use and improvement of the printer can possibly lead to the loss of jobs for many people.
This medical technology has been successful many times in helping people lead better and more comfortable lives. As research continues it will evolve and grow to be even more precise and with it,laws a regulations will follow.

Gene Editing
Gene editing started in the 1990鈥檚, and as time went on the alteration technique improved.
Gene editing was designed for a multitude of reasons, one of which is to boost health. Gene editing can alter genes with can in turn stop certain mutations and diseases before the fetus is even born.
Gene editing is also used in agriculture. They use said technology to make specific changes in DNA to the plant for specific results. These results could include making the plant a different color or making them resistant to a pest.
Gene editing is generally controversial topic. Many are concerned this technique will one day be used to create super humans.
Gene alteration has so much potential; so many possibilities ,positive and negative. The future knows what will come of it.
