“You did?” Kohane breathed excitedly, perking up entirely. She raised a finger to settle against the jut of her chin in contemplation. “I suppose maybe we can slip out a little early to make sure we get there before it closes. Maybe we can pick something up to share with the guys!”

A hum escaped An’s lips as she studied Kohane, narrowing her eyes in doubt. She couldn’t leave it alone though, Azusawa was her person. Still, she looped her arms with Kohane’s and whispered into her ear. “Just let me know if you can’t handle it, all right? These two are lame anyways so I won’t be mad if you need fresh air.”

Kohane smiled warmly up at An as they locked arms, giving a slight but sincere nod in confirmation. “I will, but I’m certain I’ll be fine.” She gave An’s arm a slight squeeze with her own. “Though, if you’re looking for an out, I’ll gladly be the excuse,” she teases with a soft giggle in her tone.

“Oh, n-no, it’s okay,” Kohane stammered softly as she gazed up at An. She didn’t want to be the reason everyone’s fun was disturbed. She’s grateful that An always put her comfortability above all, but Kohane knew she needed to continue to push her boundaries, even if just a little at a time.
