I previously taught Japanese language to overseas students and business person in Japan.

That was precious experiences in my life.

He was in IT engineer section. That means, the lesson’s cost had the company. we need to improve JP ability effectively for short term. Because JP polite form is difficult especially. So, he need to put on it at once and didn’t use the direct method in this case.

We don’t use other language usually when we teach it. But I have a rare case of experiences as well.

I mean this experience used English as "vehicular language" between Taiwanese. That’s very precious.

This photo is in that time with Taiwan snack. Can you see the textbook papers behind the snack bag? Can you confirm a lot of kanji on many places as well? 😄

Of course, Japanese use kanji. Taiwan also use Kanji. But that has a lot of differences between ours and theirs. So, we needed to use English as "vehicular language". (Lingua Franca)

Guess what?

I introduce one of Japanese traditional crafts "Tsumami-Zaiku" this time.

First, the words meaning;

Tsumami means "pinch" 🤏

Zaiku is sound's changing on grammar in "Saiku"

I mean, it's same meanings but it’s changing sounds a little. (as Japanese grammar)

*On kanji —-> 細工 [saiku / zaiku]

It depends on length or sounds of the previous word whether it uses "saiku" or "zaiku" —-> liaison

Next, about how to make;

That’s made from one textile like a Origami 🟦

The textile is used silk type in many cases.
