Casa dels Nins
Tumblr media
The Casa dels Nins , is next to the Plaza de Manelic.
It was built around 1931, with all its external decoration in relief and with images of children. During 1987, an addition was made respecting the volume and the existing lines of decoration.
The most notable elements are the reliefs that adorn the façade, the semicircular pediments, and the window sills and, especially, the upper cornice, which presents a whole series of symbolic or allegorical themes of all kinds, made by an unknown author.

Molí d’en Ribé
Tumblr media
This mill is related to the large stately estate of the Balldovina Tower. It is named after its owners in the 18th century, the Riber family. The mill was used to grind grain from the surrounding fields, which increased over time and led to the enlargement from four to six millstones in the 16th century to cope with this increase in cereal production. During the first third of the 20th century, electricity was introduced in our territory, and it is believed that this mill was adapted with an electric motor and, perhaps, it could even produce electricity for the manor or for the village.
