I really really appreciate the time and effort y'all put in for me!😭❤❤❤ But more importantly thank you for withstanding my nonsense/noob level/hobo yet sentimental self HEHE. Mon, thank you for staying by me throughout these years and for understanding me in and out hehe, and Alyssa, for always being able to find the right words to describe how I feel hahaha it's EXACTLY only a year we're friends today haha it seems like forever alr!! SATU KORIDOR - my last year in NJ, my first MLDDS dramanight // SO PROUD OF OUR MALAY LEPAK SQUAD IN NJ!! Had our scripts rejected twice but I'm still so glad to have been given the role as head scriptwriter:) The cast really brought the script to live last night and the audience response was amazing! 💖 Special thanks to Cikgu Mazalan and Cikgu Artina, cast, backstage crew, ushers, sound & lighting, photog, pa, stage managers and esp directors for making all this possible!! #njcmalaydance PROUD TO ACHIEVE DOUBLE DISTINCTION!!! 🌂⚡ // We did it. We started from scratch, from pure nothing; no dance background, no basic techniques, no more motherly teacher-ic Ms Khoo, nearly no coaches, no speakers, no dance venues, no music, no costumes, no proper stage blocking & lighting, and no choreography. I broke down a lot of times throughout this SYF journey. Endless new challenges keep cropping up one after another and we really had to fight for everything. Many times I was doubtful, and there was one point in time I was so extremely close to giving up on the dance team. But I am genuinely truly grateful for the unwavering faith and support from my dance family. They are really the best dance mates who will always look out for one another and I guess that is why we made it, and proved everyone wrong. From non-dancers (myself included), we proved ourselves worthy of one by constantly helping each other, as we believe that we are as strong as our weakest dancer. Words can't fully express how proud I am at how much we've grown as a family. Being different doesnt't mean we can't be one. 💗

BIG THANKYOU to the grandddd seniors who graduated as far as 5 years back but still wished us luck and came down to support us at SYF hahaha. I guess I'm the only one left in NJMD who knows y'all. 😅 Y'all are so attached to #njcmalaydance and still come down to help us out at trainings whenever you can and buy us food and have faith in us. AND THANK YOU SO MUCH for saving us early in the morning to help us with makeup when the SH team suddenly had no makeup artists for our SYF (yep we had even crazier challenges throughout our SYF journey) even though y'all only found out the night before!! 😭💕🙆 Really glad that I managed to keep the legacy y'all left behind and keep the team together as a family.😊 Missing: Jiemin, Bernice, Aisyah, Ilya, Pam 😭

HAPPY BUFFAYEE MUNCHY!! You are so admirably multi-talented and idk how you have the strength to continue having a sports + dance CCA on top of taking up a big exco role. You are a really dedicated and meticulous leader who always, always offer LOTS of help. Thanks for believing in me despite my constant breakdowns hahaha. Thank you so much for coming up with creative solutions to counter our 1001 challenges throughout our SYF journey. You are a really amazing dancer too so don't cry; you covered up your part super super well yesterday and I'm proud of you!!! And I'm glad I chose the right person to represent us for our intro SYF speech; you really set the mood for our dance so amazingly well. My birthday gift for you is our SH SYF dance yesterday HAHAH. Badai ⚡ // Let me show off my amazing dance team to the whole world. ☺ We are the #njcmalaydance family. We only started our SYF dance in February. We only got our final music 3 days ago. We only got our costumes 2 days ago. We only got our final choreo 1 day ago. And we only had our final touches two hours before our actual SYF. Like our dance, we overcame even the darkest storms (i guess only njmd really knows hahaha). Dancers, all our late trainings at atrium; the sacrifices, the blood, the bruises, the sweat, the tears; the precious 5 minutes on stage were all worth it. Newcomers, I'm so thankful y'all join our family; you guys are really one of us now. I'm really glad I fought hard for y'all to be in the dance because I have so much faith in you, and y'all really improved so much. I'm so proud of you; our family. "Badai pasti berlalu." I guess the storm has finally passed. 😊🌈

Lenggok si Jelita // They are the people worth surviving a 3 hour sleep for on an SYF day and reaching school at 4am for makeup and preparation. Juniors, y'all were just ...beyond words. The smiles, the energy, the coordination, the elegance - I am truly really impressed!! #njcmalaydance Can't believe our intensive camp ended so fast hahaha. Really glad that all our 21 newcomers in both JH and SH team have a part in the SYF choreo too; honestly dancing together with y'all is so much more worth it than any award whatsoever :') We may be pressed for time but it's okay, just give your best because I believe in you. ❤
