i really like how it’s like the jin in jinzha is the element of metal and jin also means gold so jinzha wears yellow 💛 the mu in muzha is the element of wood so muzha wears green 💚 the ne in nezha means um. ? he wears uhhh redgreenpinkyellow. one of my favorite lines from any nezha thing is from the zhejiang drama troupe performance when li jing went “idk WHO this child is or WHERE the fuck he came from so i will name him 哪(question character like which/where)zha. the line is original to the performance as far as i know and it’s cruel yet so funny in how it so succinctly captures li jing’s hater

Why are people shipping Nezha with characters?! That's an IMMORTAL 12 YEAR OLD!!!!

Most of the characters are seen as adults or at the very least teens!!!

I just want my silly Chimerashipping or Spicynoodles Shipping art. I don't want a MINOR being added into these ships, especially as I see all the other characters as ADULTS!

I get if Nezha's age is never stated in the show, but a quick google search of the mythology that the show is based upon. Especially as Journey to the West is the direct backstory to Wukong, Nezha, Redson, and so many more characters. It's so easy to find that Nezha is an immortal 12 year old, and the many stories of his backstory or his own myths or even myths he's apart of.

Can someone explain or something?!

The whole ‘immortal 12 year old’ thing isn’t true in all versions of his myth and was in actuality a rumour spread by someone on twt

In Lmk he’s confirmed to be an adult by the creators and has been depicted as an adult a few times in other media’s

I do agree with not shipping him with certain characters ie red and wukong, but I do believe that there isn’t anything wrong with say lotusnoodles as they don’t meet until adulthood, granted I still don’t like shipping her with any canon characters even if it’s not problematic

But just letting ya know that while he is most commonly depicted as a child throughout media in lmk specifically he is confirmed to be an adult

Really the best idea is to just block the ship tags, there isn’t much else u can do about it < 3 /nm /lh
