Maura loved Jane's hands. They were flawed but perfect nonetheless. She had those long, strong fingers, fingers that would good look on a piano keyboard, fingers that looked good holding a gun.

Fingers that felt marvelous on Maura's skin.

Jane was a physically affectionate woman. It felt like she was always touching Maura, always coming up with little moments between them where her hands were there, ready to reassure Maura, to hold Maura against her.
