Lipstick Mishap

A beautiful visage appears before a lavish vanity. The light from the vanity casts a bright contrast upon the face, showcasing quite a sight. A device records diligently as an art was born. Shades of gold and crimson ombre with a border of black eyeshadow tinge the corners of Vil’s eyes. His face lightly caked with makeup and a shiny highlight, he takes in the fruit of his labor: an enchanting reflection. 

All he needed to do to finish this complexion was a bit of lipstick. 

He rummages through his makeup bag, fingers sifting through a myriad of makeup tools, powders, and bottles of cosmetics. It was then he notices his lipstick, an insignia of a crown topping the cap. 

“Come here, pet. I need you to test my new lipstick.” 

Vil commands, uncapping the product. As if his words were a command, the said ‘pet’ is summoned. A rather plain yet vivacious individual approaches Vil. The much beautiful individual tucks in a stray strand of hair behind his partner’s ear. 

“Oh, pet.. You could at least put a little effort into keeping your image.” He sighs, fixing up their hair and uniform. With just a small remark about appearance, it made his partner only nod from embarrassment. Vil keeps a small chuckle from himself. Their partner is truly quite a child, aren’t they? 

He gives them a small kiss on the cheek. Before his partner could kiss back, Vil glances back to his camera. A fervor of activity - a blur of comments and a cluster of hearts fills his phone’s screen. Something akin to annoyance makes him click his tongue. He stops the livestream with a quick click of his finger. 

“Stay there, pet.” 

Vil uncaps his lipstick and applies a fine layer of the product upon his lips.

His partner awaits patiently, tilting their head ever-so-slightly to see whatever Vil was doing. What they can ascertain is Vil pucking his lips with a flourish. He looks back, his lips now a bright tangerine to match his look. 

“Come now, love.” 

He coaxes them with a finger. His companion inches close to him, uncertain yet shy. They look at him with a puzzling expression, eyes wide like an innocent child. 

“No need to be afraid, pet. I’m just asking for a kiss.” A gentle tone tinges Vil’s voice, his hand gently caressing his companion’s cheek. He sensed a smile in them and soon, the gap was closed between the two. 

A short kiss, brief yet sweet. A taste of tangy flavor and a smear of lipstick. 

The two break away, the small moment broken by a lack of oxygen. 

“Oh dear..” Vil frowns, seeing a quite unruly sight of his partner. They had a blotch of lipstick smeared on their lips. Hmm, maybe the material is too loose.. Vil thinks to himself as his thumb smooths over his partner’s lips. Their blush was obvious, a hue of red tinging their blush. How quaint..

“Hold on, pet. Allow me.” 

Vil retrieves a makeup remover wipe and cleans off the lipstick. He then gives them a lip gloss to apply. 

“My apologies, pet. I guess that was a bit much..” 

“I guess that was your way of testing lipstick?” They chuckle mildly, a little smile gracing their image. For a moment, Vil felt that he didn’t deserve this pure individual. In a split second, he gives them another kiss- and another smear of lipstick on his partner’s lips.
