I'm not really feeling my Sunset Valley Reimagined save anymore...Just as I figured, I got bored of it before I could even start gameplay. Why can't I manage to hold an interest in anything in the time it takes to see it through? ugh

Anyway I've been playing Sims 4 more recently solely for the fact that it doesn't take 20 minutes to load. I've been building a lot in there so expect a lot of posts like that

Also started on redecorating the Bachelors' house. I'm keeping the mission style decor, but some of the swatch choices were really questionable.

Here's my progress on Agnes Crumplebottom's house. I completely changed the exterior, because it was just too modern for her tastes. It's not great, but it's almost finished

Good news! I got Sims 3 up and running today after fixing a lot of things causing lag

Update 2

So my laptop still sucks. But, I did pick up Sims 4 when it was on sale on Steam last month. It runs much better than 3 does on this shitty laptop. Maybe I'll post some stuff of what I do in there until I figure out how to get 3 working without taking 30 minutes to load every little action or setting fire to my computer (seriously, it gets really hot whenever I play)

I haven't been playing sims recently because my laptop has been slower than usual and it's just a pain to get the game running. So yeah, that's why I haven't made any progress on this save.

Sunset Valley Makeovers: Mortimer Goth

Aaaannd we did it folks. Every sim in Sunset Valley has officially been made over (unless I forgot someone somewhere along the line, in which case I'll just post them whenever I see them in my game) We'll conclude this with the legendary Mortimer Goth. I just changed his shirt and hairstyle. I think this hair fits him really well (I believe the original mesh is by WingsSims. I'll edit this later if I'm wrong)

Next, it's time for house renovation! I obviously won't be doing every single house because while making over a sim can take me about 20 minutes, (unless you're Molly French or Cornelia Goth) houses usually take me days to finish. So I'm only gonna focus on the ones I plan to play with the most in this save.

Sunset Valley Makeovers: Cornelia Goth

First of all, apologies for the terrible photoshop in the first picture. I had a lot of trouble finding a good outfit for Cornelia. I wanted something more old-fashioned but still goth. I eventually found a shirt converted by @sweetdevil-sims and then it was time to find the right skirt to go with it, which was a challenge. I originally wanted this one, but it didn't show up in my game, so I found this one instead. And then came the challenge of recoloring them. I played with so many patterns until I finally decided on this one.

Sunset Valley Makeovers: Gunther Goth

Finally, we finish with probably the most iconic family (and my personal favorite) of the sims. I decided to keep Gunther's top hat because well, it's iconic. I just changed his facial hair. Both the top and pants are from @shushilda

Sunset Valley Makeovers: Kaylynn Langerak

The reason it took me so long to post Kaylynn was because she was yet another sim who aged up while I was off doing something else in the save and forgot to turn aging off. I wasn't sure if I should age her back down (I have NRASS Master Controller Cheats so I can edit ages without having to have them start at the beginning of that life stage again.) I decided to just leave her as a teenager. She was definitely harder to work with as a teenager though. But yeah. The Langerak family is now complete.

I don't really have much to say about him tbh. He looks pretty generic, but I do like the way his shirt pattern looks.

I can't believe I'm almost done with all my townie makeovers. I only have two I need to finish and four that I still need to post, unless I'm forgetting some.

Sunset Valley Makeovers: Jocasta Bachelor

I think I managed to make her look worse maybe....Again, like Michael, she looks decent in her sims wiki page, but something was off about her in my game. I tried to give her glasses to make her face look more normal, but idk if it worked. Her lipstick is still slightly off. The one thing I can say for sure is I like her new outfit way more. She likes gardening and nature, so I gave her an outfit more inspired by that kinda thing.

Sunset Valley Makeovers: Michael Bachelor

His face actually looks mostly normal in his sims wiki picture, but in my game it was very....long. So I adjusted the height of some of his facial features just a tiny bit. He was the only sim who's face I did any adjustments on aside from Arlo Bunch.
