Karuta card list
I'm told that Utsumi says in the audio commentary on the BD that there's 61 karuta cards and I found 61, albeit some of them only partial cards lol.... so here is my list!
with screenshots, Japanese text to the best of my ability (some of them are hard to read), and English translations
The karuta are supposed to be written in poem form and have 5 and 7 syllables in Japanese but for translating I just went with the closest meaning I didn't try to make them poems lol
Also, Miya and Reki's hand writing is too similar I tried to guess which one was which but I might have mixed a couple up.

Utsumi interview in April PASH
There are spoilers for the OVA so I'm putting it all under the cut
Q: Please tell us any memories you have of the time you were making the character named Shindou Ainosuke (ADAM). Also, did you feel that the character “transformed” as the production progressed? A: When we first started working on the screenplay, I couldn't really picture what his position as a last boss was, and so I felt a bit conflicted about him. After studying other works and adding elements that were unique to him, he became what he is today but I never expected him to become the way he is...... His perversion and violence are his defining features, and I think the decision to include the former was made once the mask was decided. However, if he goes too far, he would become unclassy, so we had to control how much we used it, and I think it's really because Koyasu-san was such a classy Ainosuke (ADAM) that he become the character he is today. Q: What do you think makes Ainosuke (ADAM) so lovable? A: In 3rd place: The fact that when he gets excited, he wants to dance and starts tap dancing. In 2nd place: The fact that when he first came into contact with Langa, he tried not to touch him but that just made it seem like he was too conscious of it and made it seem even more perverted. In 1st place: The fact that when Langa hugged him in episode 5, he malfunctioned and started skating in circles and saying "Love... Love... Lovelyyy~~♡♡♡". It's adorable to think that he was so happy that he broke. Q: What is something you thought was important regarding the interactions between Ainosuke and Kikuchi in the series? A: During the first season I was conscious of the sharp, tense atmosphere between them because of their feud, but in the OVA, I assumed their scenes would take place after the first season ended, so the relationship between them is new. I can't really say what what their relationship is now, but it's definitely not the same as before. Q: Please tell us more about Ainosuke's school days! A: There are a lot of mysteries about Ainosuke's school days, aren't there? We have only determined what we have shown in the story so this is just my personal opinion...... But I imagine that he's able to do everything better than most people and so he probably found his classmates boring. That's why he was so absorbed in skating...... and thinking about that makes me sad so I'd like to see him attending class in gym clothes or a swimsuit. Q: There's just a little over a month left until Ainosuke's birthday (May 1st)! If you were to give him a present, what would it be? A. Huh!? I feel like if I tried to give it to him I'd be hit by a board but.... I'll be brave and give it...... I'll try to give him a giant rice ball made by Langa! I can do it! Let me have a go!!!
To the left, Utsumi wrote a letter to ADAM to celebrate his birthday.
Dear Shindou Ainosuke, Have you been doing well? This might be a little early, but happy birthday. I laughed when I saw that the request from the PASH staff this time was for a pinup of you on horseback. I'm sorry, please don't hit me. This is just proof that everyone loves you. I was happy that we were able to see a peak of various aspects of you in the OVA. When I saw you swinging the board around I got goosebumps. It's a terrifying technique. I'll continue cheering you on from behind the scenes. Sincerely, Utsumi Hiroko March 2025 PS: I made sure to hide your ass in the shower scene so please don't be angry with me.

Langa Hasegawa Character Intro & Chiaki Kobayashi Interview (spoon.2Di vol.71)
"Right now... I'm having fun!"
Langa Hasegawa
"S" Name: SNOW Birthday: February 8th A returnee* transfer student from Canada, and a high school second year who's always spacing out. He sometimes shows a stubborn side.
(*note that "returnee" here refers to a child with Japanese nationality through their parent(s) who's come to Japan after living elsewhere, but includes children who were born overseas - this doesn't imply anything one way or another about if Langa was born in Canada or Okinawa.)
Chiaki Kobayashi Interview
—When you were playing Langa, what sort of direction did you receive from the staff? What did you consider important to your portrayal?
My own impression of Langa is that he looks cool at a glance, but is an unexpectedly expressive and aggressive boy. So when we were recording the first episode, I played him really lively, like he could keep up with Reki. And then in direction I was told "we want him to be more spaced out and out of touch", "he should go at his own pace without discussing things with Reki." Moreover, that as the story progressed from here, he'd gradually show more expressions. I think it was exactly because I received that direction that Langa began to come to life as a character to me.
—In episode 5, Langa has his first BEEF with ADAM. Could you give us your impressions from when you were performing, and tell us how you perceive what ADAM is to Langa?
I think, to Langa, ADAM is someone who can show him sights he's never seen before, and can teach him a kind of excitement he's still never experienced first-hand. So, when I was recording episode 5, he pursued him without any negative feelings like fear or worry he could lose. But because I got direction that I was coming on too strong and it felt like Langa would win from the beginning of the race, I had to be conscious of the balance between being overwhelmed when he was supposed to be overwhelmed, but still chomping at the bit. I was really overjoyed to be able to talk everything until now out with a great veteran on the front lines like Koyasu-san. (laughter)
—Episode 6 turned out to be a really fun episode. What were your impressions and memories from recording?
We, the cast, will enjoy ourselves! After this, we're over the hill! That's how we got through it. (laughter) The episodes right before and after this were particularly hard, so this was a pretty extreme difference in intensity. But thanks to this episode, we were able to deepen the camaraderie between the characters, and dig into each character in more depth, so I think it was a really important episode.
—Are there any other scenes in the story so far that have made a lasting impression on you, or episodes you remember recording the most strongly?
Episode 2 made a lingering impression on me. Episode 2 was an important episode that really condensed Reki and Langa's deepening relationship and the joy of skating. Episode 1 was still the episode where they first met, so Reki and Langa weren't really opening their hearts up to one another yet. But in episode 2, they're dealing with the same things, they're sharing their "fun" with one another, and gradually start to get along. It was an episode without a race in it, but I think it's this episode that really solidified Reki and Langa's friendship. On top of that, because the episode's crammed full of things that beginner skaters go through, people who've never skated before can have the sense that they're growing alongside Langa, while experienced skaters can have a taste of nostalgia and think "I used to do that!", so I thought the composition of the episode was amazing.
—Is there anything coming up in the story that you thing we should pay close attention to?
I think you should look out for the outcome of the tournament, that everyone will be staking their hopes on when they compete, and what will happen to Reki and Langa. Of course the main draw of a tournament is who's going to battle who, and which pair is going to end up competing in the finals, but underneath that, there's an intricate web of human relationships depicted from all sorts of angles that you can't tear your eyes away from. I think you'll enjoy it, even when it's heart-wrenching. (laughter)
—Finally, please send a message to all our readers.
Will Langa go down the same path as ADAM? What will happen to Reki and Langa's relationship? There are a lot of things to be anxious about, but please keep watching over those two! The staff and cast are working together as one to do our best to show you those things, so please keep waiting with infinite anticipation! I think there will be more and more developments unfolding that you won't expect. Thank you, and enjoy!

Note from Utsumi
The reasons behind the location choices revealed for the first time!?
For the location where they receive the "S" sticker, when we were location hunting we heard there was a street called "New Paradise Street" and that location was on a nearby street so we chose it because we liked the name "Paradise Street".
For Joe's restaurant, it was originally found by the producer, Mari Suzuki, from BONES. We were looking for an Italian restaurant in the Shuri area and we happened to find one. We just went to the restaurant for dinner during location hunting, but since the interior was so stylish and the food so good, we immediately asked "May we use your restaurant as a location in our anime?"
Incidentally, an acquaintance of the owner was sitting at the counter at the time, and Sakurayashiki just happened to end up sitting in that same spot in the anime. Seeing them talk in such a a friendly manner at the counter was so wonderful, and so I'm glad that we were able to recreate that in the anime as well.

Utsumi TV guide A stars vol 1 interview
This is a really long interview and I'm just going to do a summary of new things mentioned in this interview.
The interview starts with Utsumi talking about the infinity week event and how she talked from behind the stage because Kobayashi wasn't there and she wanted to make it fun for people. She says it was nice to see everyone excited about season 2 and the OVA.
She says the reason the S course ends in an abandoned factory is because they needed to think of a place that Langa could do a backside rodeo (the trick he does at the end of ep 1) and they decided that was a good place for it and so it influenced the whole course. There are multiple routes people can take so it's interesting too. It's not based on a real place. The conveyor belt that Langa uses for the jump in the first ep isn't shown clearly where it is so they didn't have to draw it in the scene every time and have it get in the way.
Since Reki and Langa are normal and Adam and Shadow wear crazy costumes they designed Cherry and Joe to try to balance them out or it would just seem like Adam and Shadow were weird cosplayers
She talked in a previous interview about how this story is all about male friendships and the interviewer asks about that and about Reki and Langa and their fight etc and Utsumi says that their fight lasted so long because it makes you feel how important their friendship is and it makes it even stronger when they make up, but it's not just friendship, she believes that it's also that they also acknowledge each other as rivals and their race scene at the end of ep 12 is proof of that.
The interviewer tries to ask about the friendship between the adults and she's like "I was mainly focused on Reki and Langa, that was all Ookouchi".
Utsumi says that the CEO of bones told her that this is the first time he's seen a 1 season original anime have so much hype about it over a whole year after it was made and he's been in the industry for a few decades so it made her really happy to hear him say that and she's happy that everyone is so passionate about this anime
She says there's a plan for season 2 but the OVA isn't really decided yet and since the OVA isn't decided yet season 2 isn't finalized yet either.
She says all she can really say is that the OVA will probably be a short story since OVAs are limited in time, and they haven't really decided yet but season 2 will probably be not long after season 1 with maybe a small time gap.
The interviewer says personally they'd like to know more about Joe and Cherry in high school and what happened with shadow after the end of ep 12 and Utsumi says Joe and Cherry's past would be interesting... and she came up with a story for how Cherry got his lip piercing but everyone rejected it.... but what happened with shadow and his boss (and if that was really her BF) will be in season 2.
The interviewer then asks about ADAM at Langa's party at the end up ep 12 and Utsumi says that the scene was designed to show that ADAM had returned to how he was before and that skating with Langa had reminded him of the fun of skating but she really doesn't want ADAM to change either. So they hadn't really thought about how their relationships would be at that point and she's only really thought about if after she's gotten questions like this. They'd probably have different conversations with him that they've had with him up until now. "I think we might see that in the continuation!? (lol)" also it's the first time we see ADAM during the daytime so his outfit is really red.
The interviewer asks if there were places they found during location hunting that they didn't get to use in season 1 that they still want to use and she says there was this huge tree they wanted to use that would be around Reki's house that they probably played around ask kids etc and they thought about shoving it in their fight scene but decided it would be too weird so they didn't use it. There was also a shopping district will probably be used in season 2.
That's pretty much it. It ends with her saying that while it might be a long wait she hopes people can wait patiently while having fun imagining what could come as they wait.

Animedia Uryuu Kyouko interview
Not skating but playing karuta!?
Q: What is the scene that you though "this is hot" the most during?
A: While they were playing Karuta! Please feel that true breath of life!
You'll be able to see all sorts of firsts!
You'll be able to see how Sakurayashiki and Nanjou interacted while they were young!
Just as the title says, you'll be able to see their morning routines!
You'll be able to see Hiromi-chan in love!
Click to read the rest of the interview
We asked Kyoko Uryu for secrets about the production of the OVA!
--It's been just about 4 years from when the first season was aired on TV, and the OVA is going to be shown in theaters soon. How did you determine how production would go?
While we were making the first season, people would often say things like "I'd like to do this type of thing in season 2" so there was a strong desire to continue in the production team. So it was determined we'd make a season 2 very soon after we saw the reaction to season one. However, since it's an original anime without a work to base it off of, and the staff had plans to work on other projects, we figured it would take a while to make another season. We decided to produce an OVA before the second season, as we wanted to deliver something new in the meantime, and also as a gift to express our gratitude to the fans who would be waiting for a long time. That ended up taking quite a while too though......(sweat). Thank you so much for waiting......!
--Uryuu-san, please tell us your favorite part of the OVA, that's an "Omnibus story about their everyday lives"
We wanted to make something we couldn't do in the series, and we wanted to make it something that us as the staff would also want to see, so this is an episode we made from all of our ideas. I can't say much about the content yet because it would be spoilers, but I can tell you now that my personal favorite point is the theme song! Not only is it sung by Reki and Langa, the lyrics that Utsumi-san helped produce are amazing, so please listen to the full version on the OVA bonus CD!
--In the commercial currently available, we see Sakurayashiki and Nanjo in their highschool days. Was the part set in the past something you came up with after it was decided there would be an OVA?
Well, we had decided that they've been "frenemies since childhood" before this, but we started from wondering how these two would have been during their school days if they fight like children even as adults..... That's how we went about creating this story. We hope you enjoy seeing their former daily lives(?) that we aren't really able to depict in the main series.
--If there's a character that your impression of has changed, or you've found a new appeal because of the OVA, please tell us!
Kikuchi! Kikuchi is a mysterious character by nature, but I think you'll see a side of him that's completely different from the image you have of him from the TV series.
--Other than the second season that's already being made, there have been various collaborations and pilgrimage tours held for this series that's been loved for a long time. Is there anything that you personally want to see happen for SK8, Uryuu-san?
I feel like the fans of SK8 have a deep love for this series, so if I ever have the change, I'd like to have a tea party or something like that to talk with the fans about the series. I'll never forget about how enthusiastic the fans were at the talk event held during the pilgrimage tour last year (lol). Other than that, I'd like to be able to have a Canada episode someday and be able to hold a Canada pilgrimage tour...... of course before that I'd like to go to Canada with Utsumi-san for location scouting!
--Finally, please give a message to everyone waiting for the OVA to go one sale and the theater screening!
Thank you so much for waiting 4 whole years.
The OVA is made for the fans who are overflowing with love for SK8, and I think it's packed full of rich content for them so please look forward to it!
The limited time theater screening will of course contain the OVA itself, but we also plan to deliver specially edited footage from the first season so that everyone in the theater can enjoy it together, as well as behind-the-scenes talks with the cast and director. There will be footage only shown in the theater so I hope everyone will enjoy it together before the OVA comes out. The OVA packaging will be just as elaborate, if not more than, the series packaging, so we hope you'll pick it up and watch it over and over again!

Pash Utsumi Hiroko Interview
It's sure to be a heartwarming, Fan & Fun experience!
It's about the moments you weren't able to see in the main series.
--Looking back at the scenario meetings, is there anything that stands out in your memory?
Like the fact that there was a longer version where (series writer) Ookouchi Ichirou, the producers, and I all came up with ideas for what to do in the OVA and decided on it, only to realize it didn't fit into the time limit plan I came up with myself and so it was rejected (laughs). Of course Reki and Langa are the main characters so they're going to appear in the OVA but we really wanted to include them all... and that would be difficult to do in one story so we made it into an omnibus format.
--What do you want people to pay attention to in this OVA?
I'd like it if you could check which scenes were shown in the PV. For example, Reki and the others play karuta, but what kind of karuta is it? Who's playing against who? Will Langa, who is bad at reading and writing, be okay?! In the part with Sakurayashiki and Nanjo set in the past, what was their high school life like? What were their fights like back then? How developed are Nanjo's muscles?! Also, the unknown life of Kikuchi, which was kept top-secret in the main story, is revealed...!?! And more!
--Please tell us about what you remember when looking back on recording the voices for this OVA.
I was happy to see that Hatanaka Tasuku-san, who plays Reki, and Kobayashi Chiaki-san, who plays Langa, were still the same Reki and Langa even though several years had passed. I didn't feel any time had past... ∞(eternal) Friendship! It was also memorable how Koyasu Takehito-san, who plays Ainosuke, struggled with a certain scene. Look forward to finding out which scene it was! It had been a while since I last did the voice recording for SK8, and it brought back memories for me, making me feel like SK8 was back!
--What exactly is the theme for this OVA...?
Since it is an omnibus format, there is no overall theme, but they're each filling a gap that wasn't able to be seen in the main story.
--In order to get to know the characters more deeply before the OVA is released, are there any behind-the-scenes details that you haven't revealed yet (that you couldn't show in the first season of the TV series)?
The different headband Reki is wearing in the OVA PV is a souvenir present from his sister Koyomi. It's shaped like an akabeko with a tiger pattern... it's quite unique. Reki only wears it at home. Langa doesn't care about clothes, so he'll wear anything that's comfortable to move in, so he's wearing something strange this time. Please check out the OVA to find out the details☆
--For those who are rewatching the first season of the TV series, what are some of the points you would like people to pay special attention to?
Don't miss anything! The relationship between MIYA and Reki, the outcome of Hiromi's fleeting love, the current fight scenes between Sakurayashiki and Nanjo, the vibe of the master and dog relationship between Ainosuke and Kikuchi, etc. The bond between Reki and Langa through the whole series and how it develops into friendship, keeps your eyes peeled on it till the very end!! And since the theme song for this OVA was created with the TV series in mind, so I'm certain it will improve your understanding if you watch the whole series and think of it while listening to it☆
--Finally, please give a message to the fans of "SK8".
We're sorry to have kept you waiting for so long, but thanks to everyone who has been waiting that the day we can finally deliver it to you is fast approaching...! There's only a few more sleeps till the OVA is here ♬ How about going to the cinema to watch "SK8 EXTRAPART" as the finale to your New Year's celebrations? It's sure to be a heartwarming, Fan & Fun experience! Please look forward to its release☆

SK8 Morning event summary
Alright! Here we go! Here's a summary of the first event. It's really long I did my best lol...
While people were being seated, we hear Reki and Langa talking. Reki says that a capman handed him a piece of paper and told him to read it. "But I feel like I've seen him somewhere before..." Then Reki realises that the people in the theater can hear him talking and Langa says he's already miced.
Reki starts reading what he was given, welcoming everyone to the event, and giving instructions about corona virus safety. Langa says "You know when you say it, it's pretty unique, Reki." and Reki is like "You shut up! You read it then!" Langa's like fine I'll do it and starts reading it but he has a lot of trouble because there's a lot of kanji and he can't read it and so Reki keeps having to tell him how to pronounce words. As Langa reads it says you can't eat in the theater and he says "Reki! It says we can't eat here! I'm probably going to get hungry..." and Reki tells him to just hold out! After they finish reading, Reki wonders what Adam is planning, that he couldn't even read some of the kanji that they used, Langa mentions that there was furinaga written and apparently Reki couldn't read his own handwriting. Langa says he's excited anyway because Reki is with him. They then realize the mics are still on.
There is a bit more of a wait as people get settled and then the event starts!
It starts with a video from ADAM! He welcomes everyone to the event
"All you fools who had their heart stolen by sk8! Tonight I've gathered all the skaters who competed in the tournament here to congratulate them! It seems that Langa and the others were trying to have an after party on their own, but it's not good when they leave out me who made it all happen. Since I didn't like it I started from scratch! This passionate stage is present from me! Everyone is excited aren't they? Now enter, Langa-kun, and those 5 others."
All the actors come out onto the stage and say a line from the characters.
Reki: "There's only one reason to skate, isn't there? Because it's fun!"
Langa: "I'm Hasegawa Langa, I'm from Canada"
Miya: "hey mister, skate in a beef with me at the S"
Shadow "I'm the dynamite flower that bloomed at crazy rock, Shadow-sama"
Cherry: "the rule is when you get on a board here, you have to skate"
Joe: "Skating is something you should do by how you feel"
There's also a stage announcer that is announcing the event. Adam pops back up on the screen and says "well, everyone is here, I'm the host of this event and asks the skaters to introduce themselves on stage. The announcer then says that he will make it happen because tonight he's ADAM's dog. Hatanaka is then like "is it okay for you to become a dog so easily?" and the announcer says it's fine.
The actors introduce themselves and the people in the audience change their penlights to change to the character's colors as the different actors introduce themselves. Midorikawa joked that the pink light made him feel younger lol. Matsumoto said that when he was getting ready his manager told him that yeah he said that they could see his nipples through his shirt and he was like I'm joe so it's fine. But then he says seriously that he is wearing a jacket over the shirt and he will try not to show people lol.
They say it's been 3 months since the series ended, but they feel like it hasn't been that long because people have been so passionate about SK8, and that it's like they just finished recording last week.
Everyone at the event was given ADAM masks and they ask people to put them on and they joke that it's scary because everyone in the audience is wearing masks.
ADAM comes back on the screen and says they should start with some light chatting since the ball has just begun. "Love that burns fast, cools fast as well. Take your time and build the heat slowly"
This is the segment where they answer questions from people. But before it starts there's another message from ADAM asking if everyone is enjoying the event? He says "You are, aren't you? if not... maybe I'll do a full swing kiss" They then switch to a video of ADAM's mask sitting on a heart and Koyasu talking over it. He's not at the event so he just made a video for the event. The camera moves back and forth at the mask, it's pretty weird and all the voice actors comment on it lol.
The first question he gives is "since it's an original story, what is something you didn't know about before, but were shocked to realise as you were recording?" (this was a question from Producer Uryuu)
Koyasu says for him it was that he never imagined that he'd be someone so amazing and he really ended up loving ADAM.
Because the camera moving around was so weird all the other voice actors are like "we don't even remember the question"
They got answers from the cast before so they put up an answer on the screen.
The first one is "Langa is too strong" and it was submitted by Miya's voice actor. He says he knew beforehand that langa was strong but he never thought he would be so strong. He thought that Langa and Reki would be more like equals but he surpassed Reki by a lot. Hatanaka says that in the first episode Reki skates pretty well but then Kobayashi says that even then Reki lost to shadow in the first episode and he won. Hatanaka is like "Umm... I know. You don't have to remind me! You're going to reopen my wounds"
The second answer is Hiromi-chan's fate.
Three people answered this, Hatanaka, Kobayashi, and Miyake.
Hatanaka says that he was surprised that he even was in the show as much as he was, and by the end he ended up loving him. Miyake jokes that he might have had to leave after the first episode because he was saying such bad things to girls.
Kobayashi says the same and says that shadow gained the "mom" position. And then in the final episode he doesn't get the girl and he felt sad for him.
Miyake says normally in other shows you'd be fine with him just getting left out and getting rejected by his manager but that's not how it went. Matsumoto jokes that it would be funny if the manager fell in love with shadow and now Hiromi.
Hatanaka says we don't really know if it's her boyfriend at the end it could have just been a relative or something!! He could still have a chance!
Next they have ono (Tadashi's voice actor) answer the question over video. But first he says, "Ainosuke-sama, I'm sorry to say, but using the full swing kiss on normal people will end up in the newspapers... I have no opinion." He says that he didn't know that Tadashi knew ADAM from such a young age, and he didn't know that Tadashi was older than ADAM, he thought ADAM would be older. He felt weird playing someone older than Koyasu Takehito.
The next question is kind of similar to the first one, it's "what is the thing that surprised you most in SK8" (this is a question from Director Utsumi)
The first answer they show is "the S itself, and the beef scenes" three people gave this answer. Matsumoto, Nagatsuku, and midorikawa.
Matsumoto answers first and says he's going to hide his face because he's going to say something not actually in the show, and covers his face with his mask and changes his voice lol. He says that when he was told about the show he thought since it would be around the time of the olympics it would be a skateboard show to go along with the olympics and then it ended up being about hitting people with skateboards and stuff lol He then says, "is the director here??" everyone else says "no she probably won't find out" and he's like "I was seriously wondering what the hell she was thinking"
Nagatsuku says that what surprised him the most was when ADAM got off the board, because he didn't think that would be allowed. When he saw him get off the board and hit someone with it he was like "oh, so that sort of thing is allowed? Even when joe was riding with his hands he was still on the board. So I was like, oh... so you can get off the board too? I had never even imagined that you could get off the board during a race." He was also shocked by him hitting someone with it. Kobayashi says "everything is allowed!" Hatanaka says that's the more shocking thing, since when they were doing it everyone said "oh... he hit him!" but other people seem to be surprisingly okay with that and think that's obviously allowed. Midorikawa says, "when I filmed that scene I had never been on a board, but after having been on one I was like you obviously can't do that!! It hurts! And it's heavy!"
Midorikawa says that he also assumed that it was going to be more of a normal sports show instead of a battle show. He also says that even though he's seen videos of people really stating it's hard to believe that people can actually do those things. Matsumoto says that he tried to do Joe's skateboard plank trick on the ground and it was impossible. You need a lot of muscles and balance.
The next answer is "Confusion! ADAM's happy dancing", answered by hatanaka. He says that the way ADAM moves is so crazy that you wouldn't think it would be done by animators and they were all really amazing. Midorikawa says his tap dancing is really weird because he's never seen anyone do it.
The next answer is from Utsumi and it's that ookouchi had Tadashi say woof in the screenplay for the last episode. But she safely stopped it from happening. They then show that video clip just to show it. After words Matsumoto says "I'm sorry but all I hear is woof" and all the voice actors agree.
The fan question from twitter is "if you could use Carla for just 1 day, what would you ask her to do?"
Hatanaka says he normally can't relax so he'd get Carla to tell him to relax. He wants her to get angry at him. Nagatsuku tells him not to use Carla like that and Kobayashi says Cherry will get angry at him for it. Hatanaka says he wants her to correct him and they all call him on his word choice because it sounds pretty kinky but he says that he wants Carla to balance him out.
Kobayashi wants to ask Carla the best way to get to places because he always waits till the last minute and everyone else tells him to use his phone.
Midorikawa wants to use Carla as a voice acting director lol. Have her count down till when his next line should be and tell him what kind of emotions to use for scenes and such.
The next question is "who are characters who you were surprised appeared more or less after having seen their designs" (question asked by the character designer chiba)
Kobayashi says the girl with the glasses voiced by Hayami Saori. She only said a few words and when Reki wanted to hit on her he thought, "oh this might be something... but it wasn't" he then says maybe she'll be used for something later.
Nagatsuku says Harry, the guy that gets knocked out of the tournament really early.
Hatanaka's answer is that reki doesn't skate much. As the show went on he wasn't sure if Reki would even keep skating. Kobayashi says that while they were recording, Miyake said that maybe Reki would quit and become a mechanic. They say that since it's an original series, even the voice actors are wondering what will happen to these characters.
That is all for the talk section.
ADAM comes back to introduce the next section. He says they should watch clips, but just showing clips is boring so they should do live performances of the scenes. "Make me feel that excitement again. I'm expecting you to satisfy me."
Hatanaka says he's really anxious about doing well for everyone, he asks if everyone else is too but no one responds. He then says that he feels like Modorikawa is judging him. Midorikawa says he should think of it as if he makes a mistake, "it's like a rare treat for the people watching" so he should relax because it's nice for the audience.
They then read scenes from the series.
Joe and Cherry showing up at S in episode 2.
Reki and Langa talking about boards from episode 2.
The scene when they first get to miyakojima in episode 6.
The tournament race from episode 8.
Reki and Langa's fight from episode 7.
Reki showing up at the hospital from episode 10.
Reki and Langa's make up scene from episode 10.
They have a short skit with Reki and Langa where reki says it's so peaceful when ADAM's not around and Langa says he would have liked to have heard some of the scenes of ADAM. Reki says all he does is swing his board around and make everyone run away. What he would have liked to have heard scenes of the guy from the love hotel. "Oh, reki you never told me what a love hotel is?" Reki ignores the question. Reki then suggests they have a beef where they imitate ADAM. He does a really bad impression of ADAM saying "Langa-kun, love hug!" and langa corrects his pronunciation of love hug. Next Langa tries but is a very subdued imitation of ADAM. Reki says it's all wrong and then says "wait, can you hear something?"
They then have performances by Ash the hero and Yusuke of Reki and Langa's character songs.
They announce that the drama cd coming with the 5th volume of the BD and DVD is a host club theme and that the cd with episode 6 will have an ADAM version of the song behind the mask.
They take a picture with the audience wearing their ADAM masks and then the voice actors give a goodbye message.
Matsumoto says that he recorded for the last episode alone so it was nice to be with everyone again.
Midorikawa says "I'm sure there's a lot of people who started skating because of this series, but I have one request, don't hit anyone with a board"
Miyake says that to get over his manager he will be everyone's dog.
Takanaga just says he enjoyed the event lol.
Kobayashi says "We still have a lot of stuff that is unclear.... So you all want to see a second season don't you!? You have to tell them!"
Hatanaka says, he had a lot of fun making it and is happy that everyone enjoys it and hopes everyone will continue to like the series "so please wait until a day we can meet again"
Then there is another video from ADAM, "fun times go by so fast! How was the love masquerade? This time spent together is like a fragile, ephemeral love. But sk8 will be with you for infinity... so until we can meet again" and then he stops talking and everyone is like wait I thought he was going to say more lol.
After the curtain closes we hear Reki and Langa talking once again, Langa says "it was fun having a masquerade with everyone, wasn't it, Reki." "yeah! It was so fun! it was the best day just being able to get everyone together!" "yeah! It was the best!" They tell everyone to be careful going home and to watch the event in the archive while it's up.
"Hey, Reki, let's go get something to eat on the way home." "Oh! That's a good idea what do you want to eat?" "Oh well, poutine and ramen and cake and ice cream and poutine and" "hey that's way too much!! Just eat poutine" "Just poutine isn't enough!"
"Wait our mics are still on"
