Okay, i was a casual fan back in the day like during the black prade era or at least i wasnt part of the fandom but I AM SO CURIOUS about all the projekt revolution drama please please fill me in. Frank’s horniness?! Gerard being engaged to someone else? I need to know everythinf about this band.

i swear every few months i get a message on this blog and i remember it exists and i am a terrible blog owner lmao

prorev is truly a mystery to most of us. frank was so horny and angsty. gerard was talking about sucking dick and got married. mikey wasn’t even there. ray took his shirt off. it was something else and i still to this day cannot belieb i saw it with my own eyes.

anyway idk the timeline exactly anymore w/ gerard’s engagement to eliza. but they were engaged in early 07 and by prorev they’d split up.

anyway, i can’t believe that we, as a fandom, just accepted the song mama as it is. we were all just kind of like okay, sure. like. have you ever actually listened to mama? there’s like 18 different sections, mild gender confusion, oedipal undertones, liza minnelli, some weird apocalyptic vibes, and frank’s mom sobbing. and we just accepted this. nobody was like “hey, uh, what the fuck is this?”. we all just went along with it. no shade but that song has some shit going on

he’s mostly known in bandom but rolls in the Marilyn Manson/NIN/KMFDM and nu-metalcore fandoms

he’s a grown adult (how grown?? WE DON’T KNOW!!! he lies about his age!!!) who requests n00dz & coerces UNDERAGE GIRLS who are already predisposed to be easily groomed based on past abuse, mental illness, etc. into online sexual (typically heavily d/s-tinged) relationships and then pushes the envelope until they’re saying & doing things they aren’t comfortable with & withdrawing from their social groups. he gets aggressive when his victims fail to provide jackoff material (fic, art, CHILD PORN YES UNDERAGE NUDES ARE CHILD PORN, sexts) to his liking. ENOUGH IS FUCKING ENOUGH.

we’ve known of this for over 10 years, but haven’t been willing to put him on blast due to lack of concrete receipts from people he was currently grooming/victimizing. we’ve watched it happen over and over, and thrown our hands up & faded away from people who just couldn’t see the forest for being actively abused by the trees.

well, we’re past that. time’s up. if we can cancel jeordie white, we can cancel all toxic terrible abusive men in our lives.

reevaluate your friendships. think long & hard if one of your internet friends is significantly older, sketchy af, and demanding things of a sexual nature from you/pushing you into things you’re not comfortable with or, y'know, actual illegal child porn. “I won’t show anybody!! Nobody’ll find out!!” IS NOT CHILL WHEN WE’RE TALKING ABOUT LITERALLY CHILD PORN THAT CAN GET YOU PUT ON A REGISTRY.
