FriYAY!!! I thought this day would never come! When I was teaching I always said the short weeks were the longest weeks and that holds true today. I kept thinking it was Friday all day yesterday. Today I am half surrender and half fierce, which is funny because my poetry chapbook title is “between riot and acceptance” which appears to be how I live my life.
