Haven’t posted in a while as been dealing with some real life stuff, but should be back to posting more regularly again soon! Anyway here’s a recent commission for a website banner. Was a good challenge painting an environment as not something I used to painting and turned out to be surprisingly fun, may do more in the future! Wanted to break in my new moleskine with somethijg nice. Finally getting round to finishing this game, well trying to anyway, every time it ends theres like a whole new game after it haha. Pretty damn awesome though ,game is getting more and more interesting..... And dark. Been waiting so long to find out who the hell A2 is so glad to be getting on with her storyline though still don't know Much about her.

Some portrait practice of Audrey tautou. Tried a looser approach based more off gesture and eyeballing overall shapes than tight measuring I usually do. Pretty pleased with outcome considering and its certainly more enjoyable way to draw.

Another Screen cap/ Lighting study. Really enjoyed doing this one and getting into the subtlety of it,  learned a thing or two, especially with painting the lamp. Took some notes I may share sometime too, might also play around with this and turn it into a conceptish piece.

Another commissioned piece for indie game “The Molten Rock”. Pretty creepy lol :D , damn tough painting that ribcage too!

Finished version of my Rock elemental boss  for indie game “The Molten Rock” .Actually posted the concept a while back, but only just got commission to paint the final version recently. Pretty pleased with how it turned out, captured the vibe I wanted atleast, though had to make him a bit bulkier to work better in game. :D

Couple of sketches and studies! Will try to post more of my sketches and stuff here, but best to follow me on twitter (https://twitter.com/vimesart) if you’d like keep up to date with them. Anyway quite like how the second face sketch turned out especially, inspired by a Mr.Robot  :D Also doing these short 40 minute studies of basic forms from life, take a white object, draw it under a light source like a lamp, and then again in natural daylight. Good practice! Surprisingly enjoyable too

Finally getting round to sharing this :D. Been working on this portrait study on and off for a while now.  Really like the reference and wanted to challenge myself and see how far I could take the study.

Was a challenge painting such intricate details like the hair, but I’m very happy with the end result and was a good learning experience at same time!

Andddd I’m finished :D, did 3 in one day lol, nice epic finish to another year of inktober. Really enjoying doing these every year and its cool to see my own progress when I look back at each years sketchbook. Anyway tried something a bit ambitious with the pose and angle here which didn’t work quite right, but I’m pleased with the overall feel of it. Well done to everyone else who managed to finish them all too :D

Alllll mightoooo.... His normal form is so much cooler than his hero form. I always like those shots in one punch man, where he’s just walking along with his shopping and doing normal everyday stuff lol, thought it would suit all might too.
