this should make you angry. children in gaza have been out of school for a whole year and will be out of school as long as the israeli invasion continues. palestinian children live in flimsy tents which do not offer them any protection from the heat/cold. they travel long distances to search for water. they are threatened by water-borne diseases and skin infections that are running rampant in gaza.

no aid has been allowed in gaza since may. there is a shortage of everything from food to medicine to blankets to tents. this means that prices for everything have gone up.

it has become very expensive to survive in gaza. heavy rains followed by the winter are fast approaching. a tent does not offer much protection against the elements.

help alaa [ @alaakh998 ] buy supplies for the winter and medicine for her son who is suffering from a skin infection. she has two children aged six and four. she needs to ensure their safety and welfare and it cannot be done without your help.

I found a tool that makes me more efficient at my job and would rather continue as I am. Sire.” Arthur decided he wasn’t doing any harm and that the ‘corruption’ had already gotten to him but it had only made him obnoxiously boring so it was easier to let him be.

Merlin fully disagrees with both points because to the first, George is really trying to become him? What the hell. He’s not willing to lose his job to George of all people.

And to the second, he just adamantly refuses to believe that George is actually boring, his running theory is that he doesn’t like anyone in the castle enough to want to talk to them so he does his best to deter them by refusing to be social. It’s because Merlin heard George break character after a feast once while he thought he was alone when one of the nobles dented a brass tray and George cussed them out so bad that when Merlin repeated what he’d said at training the next day, quite a few of the knights had blushed. Even Gwaine was impressed.

He’s been trying to befriend George ever since, and it’s just not worked. He’s pretty damn close to revealing his magic so they’ll have something in common, but he also doesn’t know if brass genuinely is George’s idea of an interesting conversation starter, he might send Gwen out drinking with him so they can talk about metal or forges or something and she can bring back the intel.

I am displaced in southern Gaza, while my wife and daughter remain in the north under constant bombardment. I live in constant fear for their lives, especially after losing my child before the war. Now, I am terrified of losing my wife and daughter as well, as the situation worsens every day.

While I care for my parents and siblings here in the south, my heart is with my wife and daughter. I cannot bear the thought of losing them too. Life in Gaza has become unbearable, and living under constant threat has filled our lives with fear and despair.

I am asking for help to secure a safe passage for my daughter, to save her from this harsh reality. Any support would be a chance for a new and safer life for all of us.

A fascinating thing about Hades game is that dead people go through character development.

There is no end. There is no escape. But there’s no time loop here. Nobody is stagnant. Not the gods, not even the dead. Even when stuck in the same daily nightly routine forever, change is possible.

Achilles gets to mature. That’s insane. Achilles in this game is a stoic, calm, father figure. That’s mad. And from how he and others talk about his life, he’s changed a lot.

Hades changes over the course of the story. Zagreus’ relationships with the people around him change. Even when his goal turns out to be hopeless things still get better.

Orpheus and Eurydice go through change both together and separately. Night and Chaos develop a relationship. The decor changes, the underworld itself constantly changes. And you as the player change too. Through the endless loop you learn, you adapt, you get better at the game, you gain more power, you uncover more of the story.

For a game about an endless eternal loop, Hades is a surprisingly hopeful game. Are you stuck in Hell forever fruitlessly trying to escape over and over again just to die over and over again? Yes. Yes you are. And there’s so much in that endless loop that will change you and those around you over and over and over again. Nothing stays the same forever. Not even the dead.
