connor often finds himself making random noises ( which absolutely includes outright screaming if enough time passes ), fidgetting / pottering around/messing with things, && generally being incredibly restless when left for even a short amount of time with nothing to do or been handed mundane tasks that require no brain power ( unless done for someone he cares about so much that he'll withstand his own agitation ). his brain was made to work && work hard. he was made to be vigilant. busy. on top of things. downtime is almost stressful to him. 

he doesn't respond well to being scolded or deemed annoying for showcasing his hatred of boredom, however, as a part of him always seems to assume it is universal ━ that no one likes to do little, to relax ━ && so it will be understood. it's one of a few things he's incredibly, albeit subconsciously, stubborn about. 

also, he has 100% been caught mid taking an object apart to study it && punished before he has the chance to put it back together again as though it hadn't been touched at all. happens a lot, probably. dude takes his time.

i’ve honestly been trying to just ignore this but it keeps happening && i’m struggling to stay quiet.

there is nothing wrong with people interpreting hank && connor as having a romantic relationship. 

there’s just as much “ evidence” ( if you will ) to support it being a potential possibility as there is regarding their relationship being much more familial. clancy himself doesn’t even see connor as being a son figure to hank. you can literally make up your own mind on it.

people can like both them as lovers or as father && son.

please stop implying that this means those dynamics overlap. i assure you, the vast majority of people are not thinking they’ve a familial bond at the same time as them being in a romantic relationship or that either even occurs in the same universe / one relationship predates the other. they simply enjoy the potential for either to occur && find both have their ways in which they make sense.

it is not a problematic ship. it is not pedophilic nor incestuous nor predatory. 

they’re not related. they’re not even the same species. connor is a grown ass, intelligent man who has to have the capacity to assess whether or not something is criminal && / or morally justified. 

he may be traumatised, have vulnerable moments, do things that are amusing && deemed childish due to his curiosity && awkwardness but he is not a vulnerable little child by any means. stop downplaying him. stop oversimplifying him / denying him his complexity. stop trying to define him based on such select moments in his entire existence. stop infantilising him.

&& people who are saying it’s pedophilic, i implore you to find out what pedophilia actually is. as someone who has lived it, this part especially enrages me. it hurts so much to see people toss around such powerful words about things that ruin so many people’s lives ━ the lives of those who were harmed by a pedophile or those who have been truly wrongly accused of being one. 

it’s a serious matter. keep it for that which it actually applies to. 

don’t make people feel fucking terrified to ship something innocent for fear of being deemed a pedophile or make people who were or are a victim of one feel like wasn’t a big deal or even trigger them. hell, i know i can’t see the word without my stomach dropping because despite fighting so hard to block it out, i’m once again reminded of my reality.

no one is saying you have to like romantic hankcon yourself. we ship what we ship, regardless of whether or not we have an explanation as to why we may or may not. but, my god, leave those who do alone && stop with all the idiotic reaching, shaming, && bashing.
