I know no one is going to read my little opinion here on tumblr but this thing about MLS & Apple is just dumb. The problem is that Garber banked on Messi getting through the playoffs and forgot to promote literally any other teams' storylines.

I talked to a Marco Rues fan who didn't realize that he was even playing for the Galaxy now, let alone that they were about to win the MLS Cup.

They aren't doing legitimate marketing or promoting MLS as a serious league of its own. Yes, there's a draw to having Messi but he's not the ONLY draw of the league.

FWIW (which is nothing): I LOVE having everything on Apple TV. No blackouts. I can watch everything I want to watch. They just need to promote it better.
