🌟Greetings Galactic Wanderers! 🌟
✨ A message from the Transreality Project Mod Team regarding a recent posting on social media.
Thank you very much for taking a moment to read it through. . . . . > Text from the graphics below
Greetings Galactic Wanderers,
A social media post was shared recently by a former member of our mod team. We are deeply saddened that they have decided to proceed in such a manner, and after some debate on how and whether to react at all, we decided we all wanted to come in and set the records straight.
Said former team member left the project of their own volition, with little notice and at a critical, albeit early juncture. Without going into details of a complex and charged situation, there were differing opinions on what collaboration between the mod team should look like.
When they posted on social media last week, we immediately reached out privately, both through the project accounts and personally, but received no response. We kindly asked said person to take down the pictures shared as they are internal project materials, and extended a willingness for dialogue. As there was no reply, we have decided to share our side, so that you have the whole story.
We have never denied credit to anyone.
In this sort of project, crediting the brand identity isn’t typical as it’s usually assumed that the mod team created it. Despite this being the case, the former team member is, and has always intended to be, receiving credit for taking part in the design process in the final deliverable booklet. We are very puzzled about the claim that no credit is being received. Everyone who has taken part in this project at any point in time will be receiving their credit in the final booklet.
No one has received credit for their work on this project at all at this point as we are clearly still very early in creation. The only recognition anyone has received as of now is purely by being announced as a Mod or Contributor. This former mod member left before the Mod team was announced, which is why they were not included with the recent Mod team announcement.
The graphic identity is a collaboration between the entire mod team, not just one individual. And while each of us has a title and main area of work, we share a lot of the work and support each other, whether it be with ideas, critique, mood boards, thumbnails, and many other behind the scenes projects. This individual did not create these works entirely by themselves, and while they did build a few of them, they also were not the only graphic mod building the group’s work. Giving credit to one person ignores the contributions from everyone on the Mod team as a whole.
The graphics are not yet complete and are still subject to change. The former member will receive credit for their contributions, but at this time it’s not yet clear how much of their contributions will make it to the final product.
The first time we were told of their concerns about crediting them was in the social media post. We are still puzzled as this is cropping up more than 4 months since we parted ways. The person in question never reached out to us to discuss their concerns or expectations for credit, and when we attempted to reach out after seeing the post, we received no response.
This is a Charity project we are very excited to be creating it, and hope that the funds raised will bring hope, peace, and comfort to the beneficiaries.
We ask that the individual speak with us to resolve these concerns rather than continuing in spreading a damaging narrative without conversation and conclusion. We also ask that others also spreading this narrative understand that this, like any other complicated situation, has multiple sides and only one of them has been shared before now.
With all of this said, we, the Mod Team of the Trans-Reality VLD Tarot Deck, hope that the focus on this project can return to enjoying Tarot, VLD, celebrating the amazing creators within the fandom, and raising funds for Charity.
Thank you for taking the time to read our side of the story.

the worst part of being a non-american on the internet is statistically you're probably going to make a lot of friends who ARE american and then you start getting crazy thoughts like "i should take a vacation to buttfuck tennessee" or "i wish i could immigrate to new jersey"

🧵 THREAD: This #PrideMonth, don’t forget that the fight for queer liberation didn’t start or end with marriage equality.
💪✨ We need to keep fighting for our rights.
Here’s are a few examples:
💋 Before the 2003 Supreme Court ruling in Lawrence v. Texas, same-smex smexual activity was illegal in fourteen U.S. states, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. military
👶 Before 2015, LGBTQ+ couples couldn’t adopt in all 50 states. Before the Supreme Court ruling in Obergefell v. Hodges, laws varied wildly by state.
🏳️‍🌈 Before 1973, the American Psychiatric Association listed homosmexuality as a ‘mental illness.’ In December 1973, a vote was successfully held to remove it.
🗳️ Before 1974, there were no openly gay elected officials. That changed with Kathy Kozachenko, who became the first openly gay American elected to public office in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
🎖️ Before 2011, “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” banned LGBTQ+ people from serving openly in the military.
💍 Before 2015, LGBTQ+ couples couldn’t get married in all 50 states. At the time, laws varied by state, and while many states allowed for civil unions for same-sex couples, it created a separate but equal standard.
💼 Before 2020, employers could legally discriminate against queer and trans employees. It wasn’t until the U.S. Supreme Court held that an employer who fires or otherwise discriminates against an individual simply for being gay or transgender is in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
