Aconite - What are your muses thoughts on their own species in general? Do they believe in inherent goodness of them? Generally self-serving? Etc?

Her own species like her plant babies? I don't think she'd really ascribe goodness or evilness to them as such. They are part of the planet's ecosystem now, therefore they are important and have the right to exist. How they turn out individually doesn't matter too much to her as long as the natural balance is maintained.

Aloe - Does your muse miss someone that they’ve lost, whether through death or a different loss of their relationship?

The only person she lost that she could miss is her creator, Fionna. It wouldn't be true to say Levi misses her, but she does think of her often. She still holds some fondness for the woman, but she didn't grieve her passing.

Azalea - Does your muse take care of others, voluntarily or not? Do they enjoy it? Do they resent it?

She does, and generally she likes it. It's her purpose, in a way, to take care of the creatures that live on Vesta. If you are human, well, that depends. She will care for you if she likes you or if she feels like it, but unless she really does like you, it's better to not rely on her unconditionally. If she doesn't want to help, you won't be able to force her.

Balsamine - What is their level of patience, and how hard does one have to push to make your muse snap?

Levi can be very patient, and usually she is. As long as people are respectful of her boundaries, that is. If she doesn't know you and you come off as pushy or demanding, she will not have any to spare for you.

She looks down to see that she is, indeed, spilling soil all over. Levi is not sure what the problem with that is. It's the same earth that rests outside the house as well. The boundary that separates 'outside' and 'inside' is hardly meaningful in any real way.

Needless to say, she doesn't offer to clean it herself.

"That's nice of you to offer," she says to the taller human, ignoring the small one. "I'm afraid I haven't learned all the useful locations within this city just yet."

She holds the flower a little closer to her chassis, where the roots almost start clinging to her own overgrowth.

"My home planet is much greener than the room I was assigned. I was simply trying to make it feel more... bearable." She pauses. "I threw the bed out the window. It should still be behind the house."

living with company hadn't become an odd experience in the passage since their last roommates, but it had served as a reminder that it paid to be mindful while turning corners, just to avoid bumping into a neighbour. luckily there had been enough time to register the nearing of the other so that Lumine could retreat a step and open the way without interference, answering the greeting with a nod.

the object in being transported was what caught her eye immediately after, and from it, the sprinkling that lengthened a trail from the residence's entrance.

a hand rested on her head before she could squirm loose and become more assertive, golden hues meeting Levi while Paimon was preoccupied with struggling. "it's not a big deal, I'll clean it". towards the petalled passenger flickered once more her focus. "if you're still learning the area, we could take you to a gardening centre so you could plant some seeds, save you having to forage".

She hums in response and checks the train's route as well. "I have been assigned housing in Archimedes, so exploring it is a lower priority for now. Is there anything interesting in Cotes?"

This is a lot more conversation than she usually allows, but she is curious and her conversation partner (unlike some other people she knows) appears low energy enough where she can permit for a slightly longer talk.

A small part of her that used to be just another robot is pleased at being asked what her preference is. But a bigger part expects it now. She is her own person, after all. "I prefer places with a lot of plants. It reminds me of home."

He considers. A year here and he still doesn't quite know what places people think are worth checking out here.

"Not Fibonacci," he says; despite her robotic (?) nature, Gabriel thinks she would not be welcomed there. And Golden might be too noisy for her taste? "You might like Cotes or Archimedes best—if there's anything in particular you'd like to see."

He glances up at the display showing where on the route the train is. His own stop in Fibonacci is coming up soon, but it's not like he has to be home. He can stay a while, maybe.

random dialogue sentence starters

"It's a little further," she says without elaborating. The alien creature - also a child, like the other one? - continues walking alongside her. It really isn't that far into the Mistwood before they reach the spot - a clearing framed by old, thick trees and hidden from most trails. There is a stream running through it and she kneels next to it, fishing into the cold water for small stones that rest at the bottom. The alien creature stops next to her, clearly waiting for something.

"You said you wanted to be somewhere quiet. It's quiet here." Levi says, not looking up. Once she had collected enough stones (careful not to bother the small creatures living in the water), she places them on the ground and starts assembling them into a small arch.

She doesn't mind the silence, welcomes it even. The unpleasant stickiness of the seat less so, but it still is better than the alternative. Settling in, Levi finds it easy to stop moving entirely - though she is no longer fully mechanic, she doesn't have the muscles or joints that might experience discomfort from lack of movement.

She does turn slightly to her newfound companion when he speaks up. He's been watching her, which she doesn't mind, and without any obvious discomfort most people tend to greet her with, which she appreciates.

"I don't know. I suppose I'm just... sightseeing for now." And isn't that a new thing to try. There were many things she thought she'd never get to experience on her home planet, and maybe some of them she was actually looking forward to. Of course, she still misses her home more than anything, but since she's already here there is no harm in trying them now, is there. "Do you have any suggestions on where I should go first?"

"It wasn't," he answers, no particular emotion showing through his voice. Notices the way her body language betrays her discomfort. Gabriel's mostly abandoned the swords and armor at this point, left at home in exchange for more comfortable clothes (though the helmet is still a dead giveaway of his own inhumanity). He's spent a lot of time before that enduring the many people who would poke and prod at his armor whenever they wanted, though it wasn't the reason he finally switched out his wardrobe.

...the point is, he understands the need for space.

He considers the machine (?) beside him with some interest. Surprisingly, he hasn't encountered that many synthetic life forms on the island in the past—very long while, honestly. (A lot of his time has recently been spent with furrier companions.) She doesn't seem blood-powered, though. Did vegetarian robots exist—did they make those? Impossible in a world where most flora and fauna had been obliterated by war.

Okay. He's been in Spirale for about a year now; surely he can hold a normal conversation where he doesn't mention blood.

"Are you headed far," he asks, breaking the too-long silence, which he'd spent thinking about what to say. See? Normal.
