Seeing moments in the game where Kris gets left behind is so painful. I'm probably projecting something but it looks like people that made acquaintance through Kris keep choosing the company of each other rather than choosing them. Not to mention the moment they're left alone, things start to take a weird route (sorry, I had to). That's when they meet Spamton, that's when you can force them into Snowgrave route, that's when they play the creepypasta-like backroom games in the S rank room.

Then I thought how Spamton parallels Kris in many ways and, man, I think loneliness and isolation may be added to the list. Phone calls Spamton was receiving made friends abandon him for all the right and wrong reasons and, after even phone calls stopped he was left with absolutely no one. Now knowing that Kris also receives the calls, well, seems the doom of the narrative is in progress.

Deltarune Kris subverted my casual opinion that Frisk is anything we want them to be, a tabula rasa on which we write good deeds/sins blah blah that I can't help myself and latch onto these small moments where Frisk does their own thing.

Like, you know that moment when you're trying to make Sans give you his room key by reloading your save file before he gives you his judgement? And he keeps telling these "super secret time traveller passwords" for ONLY FRISK to hear? I just like to believe that the in-universe logic for this is Sans knowing the prank will work because he knows Frisk is a dumbass gullible toddler who WILL with 100% FULL CONFIDENCE say "I'm a stupid doodoo butt" and I think that's hilarious.
