Chapter 1

Dolores pov:

Having the one person you thought you'd end up with forever and love with every living thing in you slowly push you away is probably one of many ways that could slowly kill you

Mariano was a man that any girl would dream to have, for the past 5 years have been nothing but the absolute best with him, until recently.

Since he was getting contracts and deal left to right it had did nothing but brought lifelong wealth to us.

The little things he would do started going away, such as bringing me flowers during every photo shoots I had, dates on our days off which was every Saturday.

All of it stop, out of nowhere. As months went by he started to forget about them or just end up canceling them saying "I got this important call". It was like he was putting his work before me, before our marriage.

I thought it was eventually gonna stop and things will get back to normal, but they haven't. It's been 2 months already and I fell like I was starting to lose him. Did he get tired of me already? We only been married for almost a year. I been thinking about talking to him about all of this soon.

But for now I decided to have a little girls day with my cousin, Isabella to cheat my mind for a bit

Third person pov:

"DIVORCE BABES DIVORCE"

said Isabella as she took a shot of her drink.

"ISA?" Said dolores as she raised her brows at her.

"I can't just divorce him like that" she said

"Then talk to him about it Lolo, cause it's sounds like he putting his work and multiple contracts he getting like every minute, before you"

Said Isabella as she look at dolores seriously.

Dolores took in the words that her cousin had just said, really thinking about all of it as she bites in inside of her mouth.

"do you think he falling out of love with me?"

Ask dolores sounding serious

"What I think is that he pushing you away without realizing it, and by the time Mariano opens his eyes, and wakes up. He had already push you so far back”

Said Isabella

"I mean Lolo, that man couldn't kept his hands off you for even a second, he loves you too much to be pulling some stupid shit like that"

Said Isabella as she took a sip of wine

"so what do I do?”

Said dolores.

"try to be more open to him, ask him to go out and stuff like that”

Said isa

"But what if he doesn't do shit?"

Ask dolores as she takes a sip of her red wine

"Mariano may be really stupid sometimes but he not stupid when it comes to you"

Said Isabella as she took dolores hand for comfort.

"BUT if he still kepts acting cold to you, divorce him, you still young and hot so it be his loss anyways"

she said.

Dolores bite the inside of her mouth to cover her worries, isa quickly noticed her body language, so she decided to say something more comforting 

"But if it makes you feel better, I really don't want you guys to fall apart, he been the only guy to treats you and loves you the way you deserve too”

Said isabella.

Dolores gave her a soft smile as she took everything in.

Dolores pov:

Once I pulled up to the driveway I saw that Mariano car was already there which meant he was already home

I parked the car in front of the house then got out and headed my way inside, once I got inside I made my way over to the living to which I passed by Mariano room office and saw him there

“Your home early”

I said as I walked by but continue so I can put my coat down at the chair

“Wasn’t much to do today at the office”

He said as he walked out the room

He kissed my perfunctory on the lips as his familiar whiff of cologne brushed my sense making my heart squeeze

“How was the dinner?”

He asks

“It was just me and isa, didn’t do much just sat and talked”

I said

“Sounds nice”

He said as he had already made his way over to his phone as his email box went off

“Speaking of dinner don’t forget our trip this weekend, we have that night reservation in Paris”

“I won’t”

As he tapped his way on the screen

“Mariano” my voice firmed

“It’s important”

I had already dealt with dozens of missed dated, cancelled trips and more, but out one year wedding anniversary was one that I was begging for him not to missed

“I won’t amor, I promise”

He said looking at me

I look back at him, not wanting to stare for too long, the opened up the fridge

“are you hungry? I can heat something while we talk about our day?”

Both of us had a bad habit of forgetting to eat when we were to busy, usually we would go and get something together, but ever since he gotten too busy we stop.

“No I’ll just grab something later, I have some client things to take care of”

“But..” I said but then stopped as I swallow back my question

“Don’t wait up on me, this one sounds like a long one” he said as he put his phone back in his pocket

“Good night”

He said as his lips grazed my cheek on his way out

He was already gone before I could even reposed back.

I thought to myself. I took a deep breath, straighten my shoulders before I could even let a tear fall down my eyes.

"As those words came out her mouth I felt like I was being stab multiple times in the chest, knowing that the one person I loved was the one I ended up hurting the most. After 4 years of loving her and protecting her from any harm, I was the one that broke her,

Bye i completely forgot I already tried writing a story of dolores x Mariano 💀. It wasn’t bad or anything it flopped HORRIBLY on wattpad so I stop writing (I was only one chapter in). I might just continue writing it here who knows.
