After 18 years of filming the Late Ustaad Mulazim Hussain sahib for a student film project, we at Vertiver were ecstatic to discover old DV tapes with some of his recordings in our archives. This amazing musician met an untimely demise in NYC, only a few days before being scheduled to fly back to Lahore, and see his family after more than a decade of being away.
It is with the hope that these old memories of Ustaad sahib in New York will bring joy to his family and friends back in Lahore and NYC, that we have pieced this story together. Join us in paying tribute to the wonderful life of Ustaad Mulazim Hussain sahib.
