THE TIMELINE

THE APPLE AND THE TREE, 2001 Born with a golden spoon in his mouth, it was no surprise that the JunWei had media flocking over him with every breath he made. As the youngest child of prominent businesswoman Sloane Francois and senator Aquillino Xuē, he was built to be perfected. Said to be a spitting image of his mother, he knew when to speak and how to act, as if his every move is calculated. Despite his intimidating demeanor, he's certainly got a lot of mischief under his sleeves.

DARLING OF THE STREETS, 2012 Right from the start, JunWei knew what he wanted. He wanted a name for himself and simply not be "the senator's son". At a young age, his talent and passion for the music field started to blossom. Loved by many, JunWei was sure he was in the right path. From one recital to another, JunWei was slowly establishing himself as a musician. Everyone adored him, and the streets had then been fond of him.

ONE FOOT AFTER ANOTHER, 2014 Growing up, it was his mother, brother and grandparents who were mostly present. Despite being busy with work, Aquillino tried to be present for both JunWei and Yichén. JunWei, being the appreciative child, started to let his guard down around his father. As he aged, he started to seek approval from Aquillino. His priority to please his father took a turn when his father eventually started to take control of his life. Yet, he knew how to hold his ground. To get away from the familial pressure brought by his father, JunWei decided to stay with his grandparents in Canada. Though it faced many disagreements, his mother Sloane eventually warmed up to the idea.

THE DIPLOMAT AND HIS LIGHTNING, 2018 Settling in a foreign country, Junwei wanted to fit in. Azulea Verscaint Marceu, he thought for his English name. Though he picked out his own name, there's a hint of annoyance whenever someone he's not close with calls him Marceu. As if it was imprinted within, he never settled for mediocracy. He knew what he wanted and what he deserved. Award after award, there was no doubt that Scaint graduated at the top of his class. Everyone knew his name, and he liked it that way. Came college and a trip back to Chengdu, he was still not free from the shackles of their family's line of career. Over dinner, it was agreed that he'll be taking up diplomacy, and if he wants, he'll enter politics. Uninterested in that certain career, Scaint laid his own terms. It was agreed that he will be the one to choose his school and where he'll be staying. And what better way to torment his brother Yichén than to settle in the very same city as him?

HE'S AN ICON, 2018 Scaint went on to pursue diplomacy. His sharp tongue and careful words accompanied him through college. President of the student council, and a member of a school band, his fame grew little by little. Despite the country being another new surrounding for Scaint, He was never alone as Zhiqiang accompanied him throughout his college journey. Inseparable since their childhood, it was no surprise that the two developed romantic feelings for each other. He then started as an underground SoundCloud artist, the man went by "RES4INTS" as a stage name. Casually releasing his own compositions and mixtapes every now and then, it came to an eventual stop when Scaint wanted to pursue music professionally.

A SAINT IS IMMACULATE, 2021 After finishing his degree, Scaint settled in his own home in Makati, Philippines. Enjoying life after his graduation, he decided to immerse himself more in the industry as he started to carve his name while building his crowd bit by bit. Casually modeling for brands big or small, Scaint earned the title 'IT Boy'. By juggling his two careers, it was no surprise that Scaint quickly rose to fame. From the stage to runways, the man built his name, from his golden surname to his very own spotlight, Scaint paved his own way.

AN ANGEL'S RHYTHM, 2024 The IT Boy's name continued to rack up trending topics. Built relationships over the years made it possible for Scaint to reach his dream. Going back to his roots, he introduced a side he'll never mask. Signing as ARCANE'S Rhythm Guitarist Loki, more opportunities presented themselves to the man as he merged both music and fashion into one. Though after a few months with the band, Scaint decided to part ways and sign under Reverie Entertainment, a company he and his twin started to further explore his budding career as a soloist. From one country to another, there was no doubt that Scaint became a global icon. With some people referring to him as an angel, he'd gladly reply with a warm smile as he extravagantly treads through life.

THE ESTABLISHED TIES

SUN ZHIQIANG, Significant Other Considered as inseparable souls, the two young men go way back since their childhood. Starting as friends, JunWei and Zhiqiang eventually started to develop romantic feelings during their college days yet unable to act on it until Scaint started his musical endeavor. Today, the two are still in a relationship despite the drastic difference between their careers.

YESHUA AKIEON D. XUĒ, Older Twin All throughout JunWei's life, his twin had always been an important figure to him. Rather than calling him gēge, JunWei preferred a more personal nickname. To him, he was Keyi. And even after growing up, Scaint and Yeshua never stopped their bickering. With Scaint's hobby of tormenting his brother, the Xuē household never seemed to find peace.

SOREN VENICE YANGCO-XUĒ, Sister-in-Law The new addition to the Xuē family is none other than Yeshua's wife, his sister in law, Soren. The two shared a friendly and sibling type of bond as he gets to know the woman. Over time, Scaint and Soren, who he now refers to as Nori, got onto the level wherein they tag team to tease Yeshua. When asked how he got close with the woman, Scaint would simply answer how she's a warm person and that itself drew him in.

NADIA VIVIAN F. ROBLES, Cousin Scaint's closest cousin from his maternal side, the two grew up together under their grandmother's wing. Rather than calling him the usual 'biǎo dì', Scaint preferred a custom nickname—Tiu. Sharing the same interests over their childhood, the two cousins bonded whenever Scaint visited her in the Philippines.

ANTON VIDICI III, Best Friend Scaint and Anton first met when he was still in college. Scaint, who frequents as an audience in small busking shows got caught in one of Anton's photographs, eventually making rounds in the internet. Come another show with Anton as their photographer, he then reached out to the man to be his muse for his photography project. Scaint, who was then building his modeling portfolio, excitedly agreed. The two formed a close bond, eventually becoming best friends—their connection never lost since then.

CINDY BEATRICE YAP, Close Friend When Scaint got his first tattoo, he was set on getting a cross, but he had no specific design in mind. As he conversed with the artist, Cindy couldn't help to overhear. With her love for tattoos, she offered to help Scaint with the design. Loving her idea, Scaint went with it. After the session, he asked for her contacts. Not knowing that they'd end up working under the same industry, the two ended up bickering their way through friendship.

MIKO SALAVERIA KIM, PR Manager Scaint met Miko when he was first starting out as an artist. Miko, a communication student then, had Scaint as his subject for one of his program's project. Eventually, the two developed a bond over time with Scaint personally asking him to be his PR manager as soon as he graduated. Setting the work dynamic aside, Scaint considers Miko as one of his closest (and favorite) ahias.

ALYX LEE, Collaborator Despite Scaint leaving his SoundCloud days behind, his old tracks still manage to earn himself a few new listeners every now and then. Surprisingly, Alyx managed to get ahold of the artist, coming to an agreement to record their unreleased collaborations. Way before ARCANE, Alyx and Scaint had been in talks regarding the release of their mixtapes.
