I’m obsessed with rdr so of course I had to find a way to make it about doctor who. so here’s a doctor who western au. instead of ending up in 1970s england the third doctor ends up in 1800s America. However the characters are the same, but they of course have different roles …. I don’t think this is the last you’ll see of this au cause I still have to draw the master (VERY important) so stay tuned enjoy this madness. Also do not comment on Bessie I’ve never drawn a horse before I’m so bad at animals

this is probably an unpopular opinion but I think interpreting the doctor as passively evil is an interesting character experiment. like, by human standards they’re pretty much an immortal, ancient, godlike entity. they travel all of time and space, saving or destroying entire civilizations on a whim. they travel with humans because they’re obsessed, almost addicted, to human mortality and naivety. sure, they claim to love their companions, but involvement in their lives almost always ends in misery, and then it’s onto the next. imagine the TARDIS filled with abandoned bedrooms, clothes on the floor, beds unmade, toothpaste in the sink. their things frozen in time, dust-covered and tomblike. and the doctor is drifting through space, surrounded by evidence of all the lives they’ve ruined. anyway, if anyone has evil doctor fic recommendations pls drop them below.

so can we talk about how the doctor's tardis key can open the master's tardis and the master is well aware of this.

the doctor falling for the master playing sincere happens much more than you’d expect it to leaving you with the impression that there are more moments of sincerity from the master that we don’t see on screen but have still given the doctor reason to believe them more than we as the audience expect he should and or that the doctor has a specific soft spot for the master that makes it easy for them to manipulate him because for some reason he still trusts them

love that he wears the question marks because hes doctor who and that’s the name of the show and ooo wee ooo or whatever but like. Obviously. this implies that for some reason he does internally refer to himself as doctor who and the question marks are his stupid reference to something he made up in his head. like a dork.
