Seeing a few transmascs on here and elsewhere blaming transfems for the ways that we as trans people have issues accessing life saving medication (the same issues we have always had under the current system).

Brothers, I know that things are horrifying (I was out and sixteen the first time this man was elected, I get it). Keep courage, and ask. Ask me. Ask someone who posted a resource without the information you were seeking where they got that information.

Get to know the people around you, and share what you learn with other trans people. The women trying to build community around you, especially, do not deserve your rage. The girl posting hrt links isn't excluding you; be careful not to let the individualism you were raised in fool you into thinking that your enemy is nearby. The trans people trying to survive this alongside us aren't our enemies, they are all that we have. Do not do the work of those that would do us harm for them, you respect yourself and the people around you more than that.

I went to a vigil last night. Wonderful people were there. The reading of the names of (only some of) the people we lost this year lasted until the metal holding the candle burned my palm. We cried and got to know one another and rubbed spilled candle wax into our hands and wrists while we discussed how we can tangibly support each other. "We are all beautiful. I love you, thank you for being here." I have never felt so safe standing in a park with people I'd just met. We just have to keep trying to protect one another.
