Had a bit fun thinking about Headcanons about my current brainrot ship: VinTsuyu

I especially loved to make them clash into each other in the competitive one and let both bust from the scale from time to time. Like Vin would need his casual going into dramatic xD

Of course you can see Vin Jin however it fits your own HC (as in his sexuality or something) but please don't come up to me and tell me I am in the wrong about things that aren't written down as canon anywhere. Be decent. <3

Otsuyu during midterms arc. All the stress is coming to her and she visits s certain convenience store the night before exams to get some medicine for better sleep. She meets little Daniel for the first time and while she isn’t looking to make conversation, she’s not judgy - she even asks him for directions since she got a little lost… again.

Zoe -who helped Daniel study - is not a fan of another girl being decent towards Daniel and she thinks she has an ulterior motive.

Lately I am very into the webtoon Lookism and I could not resist to draw my brainrot of characters into that setting just for fun.

I used photo refs for this to have a feeling for the style of the webtoon and I am glad I did. Lemme tell ya, use refs! You just can learn from it and improve.

Does Otsuyu know how to fight? Or is she a brains girl? 🤔

Ohhhh I love to elaborate on that hehe~ this could get long!

Short answer:

Otsuyus motto is definitely brains over brawn, which doesn't mean she's defenseless in a fight. She just lacks the strength you definitely need in a typical lookism fight. 

All in all she fares better than most of the female cast of Lookism, but she's no match for Mary Kim (THE QUEEN) nor any of the boys. She just misses out on a lot of the major events because her gut feelings are often on point.

Long answer:

Since her childhood she learned Aikido techniques, so she can shortly overwhelm or stun an opponent and use that critical time to escape. Therefore she put a lot more effort into her technique and speed rather than strength. Her goal is to flee combat. 

Usually her paranoia keeps her out of harms way most of the time, so you'd barely see her fighting at all - may be show off that she can use some techniques on weaker foes but she won't provoke strong ones. Like in her timeline she will flip over THIN(!) Logan Lee once, after he tries to charm her with his new good looks, as a test run for Zoe. Though once he's back stronger than before, Otsuyu will do her damnest to stay out of his sight. 

If she's cornered she'll "fight to survive" (remember Jihos "fight to kill" opposing Daniels "Fight to die"?) meaning she doesn't care about honorable fighting. She uses anything she finds to get an upper hand, dirt? Into the enemies' eyes! Glass shards? Eyes or feed it to them! Traffic cone? Who left a free club here, thanks! 

Her unfairness also goes for aiming below the belt, which would be a good thing to show during the Workers 2nd affiliation arc - into which she followed Vin Jin like a lost pup after he was away for one month and she was bored out of her mind without his usual antics. She was not crushing on him then, just super happy that her favourite stubborn dumbass 💜 is back.

After a personal arc, involving the cult that marked her (and the only time I condemn her as a "damsel in distress") she trains Kyusho Jitsu (taught by Otsuyus cousin Akemi and her husband Kurage (who belongs to @mandarinasart ), who are also her legal guardians in Korea) in order to attack the nervous system of her opponents, thus getting a broader timeframe to either escape or leave them up to somebody she trusts. 

Even her running techniques will evolve over time, since my boy Grimm is taking her under his wing and teaches her Parkour Running - or rather he opens her eyes to so many possibilities she can use when running away.

When she's with Allied in Busan, she could sorta react as a lifeline SHOULD they bite of more than they can chew, she could attempt to escape the Situation and call for backup. Though she has full confidence that these guys can handle everything - except a spelling competition maybe.

It's so funny to think that they started out on a bad foot with each other and later they're so attached to another.

These pictures are during the time when they entered their second year. Otsuyu got herself a pair of cute stylish glasses and Vin makes a comment about her being a fan, and you know, she can just be honest with herself and tell him he's handsome???

Recently got the flu whilst visiting my mom so...

STILL HAPPY THURSDAY HAVE SOME VINTSUYU SKETCHIES AHAHAHAHA-

The gist of these sketches is that Vin has been sleeping over at her place and in the middle of the night he gets out to her patio. She realised quickly that he's gone and follows him, seeing him staring into the sky, probably reminiscing over his past or even recent events. With the unanswered question if his demons keep him awake again she joins him, cuddling into his warmth while trying not to doze off. Of course Vin has to comment that he won't carry her ass to bed if she falls asleep- as if he would just let her sleep outside 👁👄👁
