Notes on feedback;
Double yellow lines are effective for the flexibility
start mockups
maybe lose the location logo and stick with the yellow/black lines
use the double yellows to form a shape through the posters
typeface feels linear and takes up equal space, like a truck in motorway lanes

Exploring the yellow lines
This visual test was a fail, I wanted to explore the idea of a more flowy/squiggles approach to the double yellows, but I dont feel it came across as road markings anymore and looked more like yellow crayon. i think i would like to use more straight lines with the pen tool instead of trying to make the idents too rounded, I feel that would capture more of a industrial mood as well.

Stripping back on the test images
Bringing more focus to the double yellow lines to create emphasis the road relation. I think I would like to use these 'double yellows' in a similar vain to the W of the Whitney Museum, where it can twist and contort itself around the medium/content, to really move into the movement theme.
Testing typefaces as well , decided on the second type choice [OCR A Std] as I feel the slab serif ties in well with the slab ends of the double yellow lines and brings a little more structure in with the vector graphics.

Chosen Colour Scheme
I have decided on a yellow/greyscale colour scheme; as the museum will be centered around the road forms of haulage, I felt using colours that mirror the road markings would bring across the tone of voice i am aiming for the most effectively.
Pantone 810 will be used as the primary feature colour, with Pantone 143 as shading when needed.
