I'm Miles. Gamer | Artist | Dreamer | 30 years. I live in Germany and I prefer English over German. I'm here to share art and befriend all the nice and cool people. I'm always open for commissions and I accept requests. (if and when I have the time, I just started studying.) I mainly reblog games, but also some SPN, Marvel and whatever else catches my interest. Feel free to message me if you'd like to nerd or rant about something. Put a -p- in front of your ask if you want me to answer privately. You can find my Art Blog here.

I was once told that, in the modern age, where everything is expected to be done so quickly, we often forget how much we overestimate what we can get done in a day, and underestimate what we can accomplish in a week or even a month.
So for everyone feeling overwhelmed - particularly those still in school and college - don’t forget that taking breaks is absolutely an okay thing to do. A necessary thing, even. Take a step back and just let your mind have nothing to process for a second. Somewhere totally silent, if it helps. You’ve worked so hard already. There’s nothing wrong with clearing your head and taking a little rest

I feel like there are a lot of people out there who needs to hear this:
If you dropped out of school because of diagnosed (or undiagnosed) ADHD, Autism, ADD, OCD, Dyslexia, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, schizophrenia etc… You did not fail. The education system failed you.

sorry for sounding too excited about my interests lol i forgot sincerity must give way to irony lest i appear as though i can find joy and positivity in a world you view through the lens of pure cynicism. my bad man i’ll make sure to mask my genuine happiness with a sardonic one-liner next time haha.

“It took many years of vomiting up all the filth I’d been taught about myself, and half-believed, before I was able to walk on the earth as though I had a right to be here.”

This post is for everyone who sees disability positivity posts and feels their heart sink when you feel those posts don’t include you. Whether that’s because of the symptoms you have, or the level of support you need or any number of things.
I want to say that I mean you. Your symptoms and/or needs aren’t shameful. You aren’t less deserving than others. You are worthy, lovable and enough as you are right now. You are valid and deserving of love, compassion and acceptance.
