Can’t believe there’s homophobic Star Trek fans. Like. Are we watching the same show. Because im watching the “in the future all of humanity will put aside their differences and accept everyone and everybody, to create a better future” show, you seem to be watching the “everybody hates each other and everything and people still all hate everyone else and this is very good and beneficial to humans” show.
“Gene Roddenberry wouldn’t have wanted Star Trek to be gay!” He also did want Dianna Troi to have 4 breasts but I don’t see anybody talking about that now do we
#also Gene very much wanted Trek to be gay#he talks about it himself when he says what he wanted and what the execs wanted#and how they were already toeing the line between the Anti-Vietnam criticism and pro-choice#but he would have been 1000000% fine with gayness in Trek#we all know he read the zines that's common knowledge

Clavelina ossipandae, the skeleton panda sea tunicate is a species of colonial ascidian, also known as sea tunicates, a group of sessile, marine filter-feeding invertebrates. Just some funky little guys!
First discovered near Kume Island in Japan by local divers, pictures of the animal attracted media attention in 2017. But they weren't given their formal taxonomic description until 2024
