(also I'm not pulling this out of nowhere, I see this happen with "critical" or "tactical" voters every election season)
the us and uk election stakes arent directly comparable imo, and so though i do agree that voting is generally a waste of your time, it’s important to realise that this year ukip are in real danger of winning a large number of seats, and imo if you live in one of those constituencies that is one thing you should be concerned about. we can go on and on about how all parties serve the bourgeoisie but when ukip win a seat in your area i can assure you you’ll notice a definite change for the worse, regardless of who previously held it, especially if youre lgbt+ or non-white. tactical voting is a flawed practice but id rather deal with lib dems than literal fascists running my council tbh

sure but in order to actually make a difference in elections you would need to mobilize other people into voting. Your one vote won't make the difference btwn UKIP winning or losing, it would have to be a collective effort. That means you'd have to spend a good chunk of you're organizing efforts mobilizing people to work within bourgeois confines as opposed to mobilizing them outside them. It's not just an ideological principle, it's practicality as well.

Tbh I think that having the pressure of raising a son is probably really crushing and frustrating for women. This is why I don’t find “I sent screenshots of your harassment of me to your mom” things funny. Why not his father? Why is it the mother’s job to create the perfect...

I think about pokemon in non-battle situations a lot. Like pokemon who have been trained/raised to be helpers and assistants than to be battle partners.
Pokemon visiting hospitals to cheer patients up like dogs and cats do. Or ones that help kids learn to read, speak, swim, go through therapy?! Even pokemon who’s abilities help owners with specific disabilities?!
I love thinking of pokemon outside of battle situations.
