"No I get it." Vanessa looked at her. "Seriously, I never make resolutions, they are just a waste of time in my opinion."

"I mean I'm sure they do, but I don't. It's just way too much bullshit for me to focus on you know?"

"Because people are broke." She joked and looked at Reid. "I'm kidding, I have no clue, either people are paranoid because of Gossip Girl or something else, but it sucks not having a job."

Reid laughed. "How do you not have any work right now? Shouldn't the new year bring you lots of new clients?"

"You would think I would, but people are so guarded this time of year and I think that's because everyone wants to make everyone else believe that they have no drama when they do."

"I don't even know what I would pay you to do." He said with a laugh. "Though I'm surprised you don't have a lot of other jobs lined up."

"Hey there is nothing wrong with that. You honestly have no idea how many calls I get about someone just wnating me to tail and follow someone just because they're bored."

"I would ask you to tail someone but I'm not really one for drama to be honest."

"I'm glad you trust him, I honestly think that's rare now in relationships, everyone wants there to be drama, even if there's no drama with them." She looked at her. "How is everything going with you two? Are you liking Manhattan?"

"I'd ask you to tail Jasper, but I trust him too much." She shrugged. "Plus, I can't really say anything about not seeing him when I've been way too busy with everything going on in my life."

"Does anyone actually make resolutions anymore? I feel like that's such an outdated concept."

"before anyone asks me, no, i did not make any resolutions for 2025. i'm going to continue to be myself because let's be real, i'm amazing." @ggstarterblog

"Girl no, with how many cases I've gotten because of one or two Tinder dates gone bad, I tend to stay off those apps."

" NyC after the holidays is hungover... Everyone is just meh. Not a bad time to go on tinder though, be like that girl on inst that goes on fifty thousand firsts dates a year." Mary laughed.

"Well it's a haunted house with people that look like they could be in nightmares, so yes I did get scared. That's literally the whole point." Vanessa looked at Viola

Viola laughed at her best friend as she jumped at the man who scared her. "Don't tell me that scared you." She laughed again.

"No I jumped because he was silly." Vanessa said with an eye roll. "God, if you don't think this haunted house is fun, why did you agree to come?"

"Do not tell me that that man scared you." Alaska looked at the other woman in disbelief. She didn't find the haunted house that scary.

"Oh fuck!" Vanessa laughed as she walked through a huanted house with a friend. A scare actor had just jumped out at her and the other person and had scared her. Looking at the person she was, she smiled. "I am so glad we came to this." @ggstarterblog

"And that is the attitude literally everyone should have when it comes to Gossip Girl." Vanessa laughed. "To be fair, I was just bringing up Gossip Girl to get your attention and I'm glad it worked."

"mm, hold on.." lottie held her finger up to the person that was talking to her. she took a sip of her drink and looked at the person who had come up to her. "i'm sorry, why do i care what gossip girl has to say?" @ggstarterblog

Vanessa looked at Quinn. "How do you forget you don't have a sense of smell?" She laughed. "And what perfume were you actually trying to smell? If it was Chanel, it probably wasn't that good to be honest."

"sometimes i forget i don't have a sense of smell and try to smell things and it doesn't click for me why i can't smell something until i remember and yes, that did just happen to me in the chanel store." quinn laughed. @ggstarterblog

"Do you really think you can lie to me?" Vanessa raised a brow and looked at Elise. "What's wrong? Who texted you for you to have that sort of reaction?"

"No no no! This cannot be happening! Not this again. Fuck!" Elise cursed as she was looking at her phone and received a message. She was both furious and devastated. "No, nothing to see here! I'm sorry, there's just... something that I have to deal with. It's nothing concerning, don't worry about it." She looked at her friend who came to visit her at their penthouse and tried to give them a small smile. This was her worst nightmare but her friend doesn't have to know about that. @ggstarterblog

Vanessa looked up at the sky and then at Carter. "It's so beautiful to see." She said with a smile. "This is llike a once in a lifetime thing so it's cool to see them here in New York."

"Look, the Northern Lights." Carter pointed up to the sky. He was on a rooftop bar with a friend and he looked at them. "Isn't the sky cool as hell right now?" @ggstarterblog

"Pad Thai?" Vanessa gave Jay a confused look. "Please tell me you aren't serious right now? Out of all the things to get into a fight about or to not get into a fight about, they go with Pad Thai?"

"I just saw a couple get into a fight at Central Park over one of them finishing the other's Pad Thai and like, that seems like a trivial thing to fight about, don't you agree?" @ggstarterblog
