for rain & maddy. you should both read them all but i’ll note who i think would like each of them more. in no particular order.

long live living (if living can be this): modern au. the boys work in a castle over the summer. it’s cliche trash and it’s one of my top 3 marauders fics ever, i love my cliche trash boys. it’s so feel-good and i just. like it a lot. rain. (maddy’s read it and pointed out that it’s not That Amazing, to which i say: shush, i am awash in recently-graduated-student feelings.)

highland fling: nc-17, sex happens so if thats a squick plz don’t feel pressured to read it. sirius is a student travelling, remus is a scottish dude whose dialogue i can barely read. it’s been a while since i read it but it’s a First Gay Experience story so rain you should try it. rain. 

common woodbrown: remus raises harry + realizes & tries to prove sirius’s innocence. v much a character study. maddy.

the art of walking backwards: bring back black. not nearly long enough it fuckin ends right where it should continue. it’s pretty though. maddy.

in stranger seasons: harry finds out about their relationship after sirius has died. sad. maddy.

rain if you’ve never read the shoebox project, tell me bc you need to read this one particular chapter of it. i mean the whole thing is really good but its literally longer than order of the phoenix and the part you’d like best can more or less be read as a standalone.
