Has patrick ever turned anyone, either accidentally while feeding or intentionally (with their consent) to save their life?
hes accidentally turned a few people, near the time when he accepted he would had to hurt people in order to survive, but he hasnt since he realized not to aim for their necks.intentionally, though.... hes never had to think about turning anyone to save their lives, yet.

Hc that when Patrick first moved in with the boys and Pete and Andy weren’t really friendly with him yet, Joe’s room would be the only room kept dark for him during the day. When Pete places blackout screens over their other windows, Patrick knows he’s been accepted as part of the team.
ö yess!!!!! theyre taken off frequently, since patricks fairly nocturnal, which has caused a few screaming matches over whether or not they should expect patrick to be up at [insert time here], but patricks generally super appreciative about it

Note
Is Patrick’s outlook on humanity improved at all after moving in with the boys and falling in love with Joe?
it does over time, if only because of joe. still, he doesnt like /most/ humans, even after all that time, if only due to how they view him. its less than hatred, though, so joe takes it as a win

Note
Do most hunters in the area know patrick’s on their side?
they do, but that doesnt mean they necessarily like him, or even tolerate his existence.effectively, hes alienated himself from both the vampire community and the human community, just by siding with humans.

hmmmmm hmmmmmmmmm i wonder whos been too unfocused to actually write hmmmmmmmmmmmmm anyways heres a drabble
Joe opened Patrick's door hesitantly, stepping in once Patrick was aware that it wasn't some rando coming in. “Have you never locked a door before, Patrick? Jesus Christ, man,” He said playfully, closing the door and locking it behind him. The vampire didn't move from his place on the bed, only gesturing slightly to sit down. “The party is shit, by the way, everyone's too wasted to be fun.”
“You're not drinking?” Patrick asked quietly. “I would've liked a beer if you grabbed me one.”
“I can go get you one if you want.”
“No, don't. I don't feel like getting drunk if you have to leave. Why aren't you drinking, though, I thought you'd be enjoying yourself, 'n’ shit.”
“I was actually kinda, kinda thinking about sneaking out with you and going out on some sort of date, tonight, right?” Joe reached into the pocket of his hoodie and pulled out his keys. He jingled them, a goofy grin on his face. “If you want to, of course.”
“What kind of date are you, like, are you considering?”
“Something cheap, like, like, we go to a park and walk around or something, then go 'n’ get a quick bite to eat, or something, then go home.”
Patrick thought a moment. “Sure, Joe. Does—does Andy know?”
“Yeah, Andy knows.”
“Okay, that's good, I don't want us to get, like, hurt or anything, and for him to not know that we're out at all.”
“We won't be getting hurt, man.”
“What if we do? I mean, there aren't any, any local hunters out, they're all here, so who's to say?”
“We won't get hurt, promise. I'm not gonna let anything happen, we can drive pretty far out, so we're out of range for most gangs, okay?”
“Okay, babe. I'm not gonna not trust you, y'know, but…”
Joe wrapped his arms around Patrick and kissed him, pulling him upright. They separated slowly. “You're cute, get dressed.”
“That sounds like a bit of an oxymoron, Joey,” He teased.
Joe scoffed. “Yeah, whatever.”
Patrick threw on jeans and a sweatshirt, then kissed Joe. “Okay, I'm ready, how are we leaving? Through, like, the window, or..?”
Joe took Patrick's hand and escorted him through the apartment, out the front door.
It was a pleasant drive, the two of them singing along to Queen as they got to whatever park Joe was going to. It went by all too fast, really, there was a sense of camaraderie that being around Pete and even Andy couldn't provide. Maybe it was because they were, like, dating. Or whatever.
They got out of the car and Patrick immediately went towards the bunk, opening it and pulling out two stakes. “You don't need to,” Joe mumbled. Patrick shook his head and threw one to Joe, then grabbed another.
“Just in case.” He said, testing his hold on the both of them before shoving one in his pocket. “Okay, so, like… was the party actually shit, or what?”
“I don't necessarily like Pete's friends, man. They're too try-hard. I'd rather spend time with you.” Joe closed the bunk, then took Patrick's open hand. “You're nicer, anyways.”
“Are you just saying that 'cause they hate my kind?”
“No, I'm saying that 'cause I hung out in the bathroom with Andy the whole time.”
Patrick laughed. “Are you cheating on me, Joe? Cuz it seems like, like….”
Joe chuckled. “If I were, I wouldn't tell you,” He replied, kissing Patrick on the cheek. “Seriously, though, of course not.”
“I know, I know. You're an absolute sweetheart, I don't expect you to.” Patrick thought a moment, then stuck out his tongue. “Dummy.”
Joe laughed. “Hey! You're mean, Rick!”
“It’s a vamp thing, if you don't suck blood, you wouldn't understand. Hey, Joe, can we not just hang out in front of our car the whole night?”
“I…” Joe rolled his eyes. “Yeah, let's go walk around.”
It was a nature park, entirely trails, and Joe expected it probably wasn't actually open that late at night. But, whatever, they could hopefully deal with the ticket, if Pete remembered to renew the license. Joe glanced at the plate, and the numbers didn't look off, at least. Joe half-pulled, half-walked-with Patrick to what seemed to be the main trail. The air was crisp, slightly too cold, but it felt nice. It was kinda hard to… to see, but Patrick could probably see fine, so it didn't matter. Patrick pushed up against him, his head against Joe's shoulder. So Joe put his arm around Patrick. They didn't actually talk much, mostly just enjoying each other's company, It was really nice.
“Something's off,” Patrick said out of completely nowhere, under his breath.
“What?” Joe felt too loud.
“There are… they know I know, I think. I think.” Patrick glanced around. “Yeah, yeah. Grab your stake, babe, there's maybe half a dozen.”
“How do you…?”
“It's like cat eyes, Joe, cat eyes. They shine a bit, maybe it's too dull for you, but I can see it.”
Joe looked around, moving away from Patrick slightly and pulling out his stake, finding himself seeing a rather dull glitter around them. “Fuck,” He whispered.
“If they won't fight, don't try to fight, Joe.”
“I'm not a dumbass, Rick.”
They kept walking.
And it took until they got back for any vampires to show themselves. Specifically, two were sitting on their car, one trying to open the back, and all three of them talking loudly to each other in very fake British accents. They quieted themselves, though, looking to the couple. They had a rather smug attitude about them. Patrick took a tentative step closer, grabbing his second stake. “Get away from my fucking car,” he hissed, then took another step forward. They didn't move. Patrick glanced to Joe, making sure he knew that they were about to fight. But Patrick didn't use his speed to go forward, surprisingly, instead going just into the brush and killing a vamp, or at least, causing a scream of pain to be cut off in a way that Joe could only assume was a vampire being turned to dust. It took Joe a few seconds before he followed suit, adjusting his grip on his stake, and looking to his side, then back, and identifying a rather close vampire. He ran towards it, hopefully taking the thing by surprise, and then threw the stake.
The hunter thought he missed his mark, but the vampire didn't get a time to retaliate before he started to turn to ash. He ran up to it, pulled his stake out of the vamp's stomach, and properly pushed it through its heart. He turned, and another was practically on top of him. His attempt at stabbing it with his stake went about as well as he thought it would go, that is, his stake was now out of his reach in the underbrush.
He managed to get his foot to connect, though, and kicked it just hard enough to trample his way into the brush, trying to find, at the very least, a sharp enough stick to work as a stake, if not his actual stake. Joe tripped as he tried to run, but managed to keep himself from fully falling into anything, hanging onto a branch to balance himself.
Branch.
He snapped it off of the tree, pointing it like a spear towards the vampire. It appeared to back off slightly, like the longer distance was more dangerous, even if it was a less sharp edge. He stabbed it at him, realizing that the hunter would be no match against the sheer speed that vampires could possess.
The gunshot that rang out from the parking lot told him that Patrick was probably having a significantly more difficult time than he was. It was almost tempting to run out and see if he was okay, it really was, but he had his own life to account for. After a few minutes of trying to dodge the vampire, Joe managed to land a hit, likely off from the heart. After all, only the vampire's arm had dissipated, the rest of it seemingly fine, although that was likely just due to the weapon Joe was using. He stabbed again, missing, and then again, landing another hit and a strangled cry, despite the fact that he only hit the thing's shoulder. He had to run, at that point, moving through the brush as quickly as he could.
And he was on the ground, face in the dirt. Shit.
What was interesting was that he wasn't being turned, or attacked at all. He flipped over, and saw the vampire pinned against a tree, struggling against Patrick.
“Who's gang are you from?” He asked, voice low. The vampire just struggled, so Patrick repeated himself.
“The—the Dandies, sir,” The vampire managed, still speaking in that all-too-fake accent.
“Who leads?”
“Mister Beckett, sir, please—”
Patrick shot him in the jaw, and the vamp was now a pile of ash. He turned slowly to Joe, and helped him up. “Silver bullets, must have some humans in their cohorts.”
“Who the fuck are the Dandies?”
“No clue. Must be from somewhere else, I've never seen such tacky costumes in Chicago. But they're all dead, now, I hope, so it shouldn't be a problem.”
“I thought you didn't like killing 'em. Vamps, I mean.”
“Did you see their skin, their eyes? They all seemed so feral, a bit older than most gang members, um.. I've done a, a good job of keeping myself sane, over the years, but they sure as hell haven't.” Patrick shivered slightly. “Let's get home, yeah? I don't wanna deal with more of these creeps.”
“Yeah, yeah, let's go.” Joe hooked their arms together as they walked back to the car.
It was four in the morning when they got back to the apartment to the start of a stern talking-to from Andy, followed by confusion as to why Joe was covered in mud and both of them were covered in scratches. They shrugged it off, citing their tiredness as a reason not to talk about it, Patrick cleaning up his cuts as well as possible while Joe took a shower to wash off all the dirt.

hc that joe sits with patrick and hangs out with him while he feeds so he doesn’t have to eat alone. patrick’s surprised joe isn’t grossed out when he tears into a blood bag, but it’s nice not to be alone and he finds himself enjoying joe’s company.

HC that the first time Joe bought Patrick flowers, Patrick started crying. Turns out, it was the first time anyone gave Patrick flowers in his century or so of being alive. Joe decides he needs to make up for all this lost time and get him even more flowers.
Ö yess!!!!!!!!!patrick thinks he really doesnt deserve it, that joes spending too much money on him, etc, etc, and while the second one /might/ be true, the first one is complete bullshit. joe thinks that patrick deserves everything in the world and more, honestly, and that flowers are something that someone so perfect would, like, require throughout their lifetime.making up for lost time is just a given, really.

did pete, joe or andy lose friends or family to the vampire gangs in the past?
only andys ever lost a family member to vampires. all three have lost acquaintances, but almost everyone knows someone who was either turned or killed by one, so its not incredibly, like, incredible. due to them all following around/being in fairly anti-vamp bands when they were younger, they happen to know more people than average who've been hurt by one.this played a large part in them becoming hunters.

Does Patrick ever have minor accidents with silver, garlic or sunlight, and does anyone help him if they happen?
its happened most often with sunlight, because, honestly, that's the biggest threat out of the three. over the course of his 80 years as a vampire, not many people have really helped when hes running to safety, no one cares to give him a hat or umbrella or gloves or anything. why would they? for all they know, hes nothing but a murderer who'd end up dead in weeks anyways. maybe once a year, hed find someone who actually cared, someone who'd give him a blanket after a concert and wish him a safe trip home, and he cherished it whenever it happened.that changed when he joined the hunters. despite how little pete and patrick get along, even he keeps from having too much natural sunlight in the house, and will help him inside whenever patrick finds himself in a poor scenario.as for silver and garlic, patricks had a pretty good track record in avoiding them, although he still has a couple idiotic scars from too much contact with them.

Note
If a vamp from a rival gang were to turn Joe or Pete or Andy, how would Patrick react after finding out and what would he do?
patrick would react really, really badly, especially if Joe was turned. he'd almost definitely cry, and he'd be mad that he let another vamp get close enough to them to turn them.what would patrick do, though? he'd make sure the puncture wounds healed correctly, and then he'd get them through the initial "oh, you will end up killing people and it does really really suck" phase with as much ease as possible.not that he would enjoy seeing his friends in pain, but it would almost make him happy, just to have him have a friend of his own species.

tl;dr pete and patrick stop being so mean to each other asdladfjalkdjf
Joe and Andy had left for a hunt before Patrick could even ask to go with them, and Pete appeared to be trying to be friendly. It was pretty interesting behavior, considering that Patrick definitely didn't overhear his boyfriend trying to convince Pete to just fucking make friends. He totally didn't hear that, definitely not.
It was odd, though, because Pete seemed genuinely interested in not tormenting Patrick. The vampire, honestly, just wanted to be alone, to have Pete just… stop. He wanted to be able to sit down and watch MASH and be alone. Pete seemed to be thinking otherwise, though. The human was trying to talk to him over the sounds of the television, poking his side in an attempt to get Patrick's attention. As if he didn't have his attention already. Patrick shifted his heated blanket, wishing that Pete would just get the idea and give up.
And it seemed like he did, Pete got up and left Patrick alone in the room.
The vampire was getting himself comfortable in his space when Pete returned into his view, holding something.
“Okay, what,” Patrick said, almost frustrated. He didn't want to deal with any of this, he wanted to sit down and watch his TV and, like, not be near Pete. Patrick just wanted to rewatch his favorite TV show. Was that too much to ask?
“Look, man, Joe want me to—”
“To be friendly with me, yeah, I get it, I'm too tired for your shit.”
“You're giving me all the reason in the world to be an asshole.”
“I don't fucking care.”
“Can you care about more than just yourself for once? I've heard enough about you, your life, y’know. I think I can make the call that you're one of the most selfish fucking people on earth. Maybe I wanna actually be your friend.”
“You try being a vampire. You try facing death everyday, literally, just by opening a window to get some fresh air. I fucking dare you to try, to live in isolation, to live with everyone you ever care about to die, or worse, leave you, leave you in complete isolation, leave you wishing you weren't a fucking monster. All I have is my past and, and, and Joe, okay? I don't even really have him. You aren't any worse than the humans I've dealt with my entire life, you aren't worse than my own brother! You've never ran home from a concert, scared you were gonna die from either someone unhappy that you could have fun, or, or that you spent too long talking to the few people who could tolerate being in a crowd with you, and that the sun would kill you before you'd even have a chance to fight back. I could never get a job, you know. I used to try, and then I realized no one would ever want a vampire. Why would they?” Patrick was, like, nearly crying, honestly. It wasn't that he, y’know, was truly emotional, about all of this. No, he had found himself stoic, over most of these, but he really just wanted to get Pete off of his back. “Maybe if you didn't try this shit so long after signalling that you didn't care, I wouldn't be so harsh. You showed me that I shouldn't bother trying to befriend you, because you don't see me past a pair of fangs and a thirst for blood. Fuck off.”
Pete didn't reply, not for a while. Patrick looked to the TV, having missed an important plot point as he spoke. No matter, it wasn't one of his favorite episodes, and he, like, already knew the plot.
“I want to grow, as a person, and it's clear to me that you aren't leaving my life any time soon. So, like… Can you let me change? I want to make your boyfriend happy.” He spoke it carefully, as if he put time into thinking of whatever would make Patrick feel guilty enough to go along with it.
Patrick didn't feel guilty for not letting him, like, grow, or whatever. He was moreso just tired. “Okay, whatever, I don't care.”
Pete grinned. “Okay, um, God, I have almost nothing, like, planned out. Um. Can I, like, paint your nails, or something?”
“Why?”
“Like, bonding purposes.”
“Okay,” Patrick mumbled. He pushed his blanket off of his arms. “Isn't that, like, a chick thing, though?”
“Well, like, I wear makeup, so I don't think that there's really a—”
“I had hair around your length in the 30’s, and my momma thought I looked too feminine. It's not a problem, I just don't understand why you'd choose that.”
“Because it's, like, fucked up that there are things that guys shouldn't do, 'cause they're traditionally girl things.”
Patrick shrugged, and Pete grabbed his hands, putting them on the coffee table and putting down what was in his other hand—a couple colors of nail polish. “I'd usually just wear black, but you're, like, a pretty cheery person when you aren't around me, so I chose the agency colors.” A dull green and a bright red. “Which do you want?”
“I don't care.”
“Okay, I'll do, um, both, I'll just use the red to accent, yeah?”
“You can do whatever.”
“Cool.” Pete unscrewed one of them, the green, and took the top with shaky hands. “So, um, like, why are you so antagonistic, to, like, most humans?”
“Defense mechanism. Why are you so antagonistic to, like me?”
Pete didn't reply, and Patrick couldn't tell if it was intentional or if he was just focusing on painting Patrick's nails.
“Seriously,” Patrick mumbled, “Making Joe happy didn't seem like a goal of yours, or anything, before today.”
Pete didn't reply.
“I really don't, I don't understand.”
“I don't wanna talk about why I had, like, what you might think is a sudden, or whatever, change of heart.”
“Then, like, don't ask me why I don't like things that have tried to fucking kill me numerous times over the 80 years I've been a vampire.”
Pete obviously wanted to, like, change the topic. “So, like, you said you couldn't get a job?”
“Yup. Because the only employers out there are either gang leaders or, guess what, would rather me be dead than work for them.” Patrick paused. “Don't think you could ever get away from this subject. If you wanna believe I'm alright, you can't view other vampires as leeches.”
“I wanna see you as—”
“I'm not a human. You'll never be able to see me as a human. Don't change your view of me, change your view of what I am.”
“I don't…” Pete sighed. “So, like, you talk all the time, about how much you love Bowie, and whatever, like, is that, y’know, a crush thing, or just, like, an idol thing?”
Patrick chuckled slightly. “I guess it's a bit of both. He's, I mean… you should have seen him live, back in the day. I wonder if he'd recognize me.”
“I probably shouldn't tell you this, but I've heard that Joe's been saving up, in case he does any meet and greet stuff, y'know?”
“I…” Patrick was sure he'd be blushing if he could. “I'll keep that in mind. Gosh, he's too nice to me.”
“So, like, were concerts, like, all you did, pretty much?”
“Yeah, I mean, I guess. Even, like, aside from Bowie, I've probably gone to a few hundred shows since World War Two ended.”
“Holy shit.” Pete grabbed the red bottle of nail polish, apparently nearly done with the job. “Can you play, like, guitar, and shit?”
“If I wasn't a vampire, and I was born so I'd be, like, 20 when the Beatles first started getting popular, in America, I'd almost definitely be a working musician. So, like, yeah, I can, and I have a reason for being so angry at humans for restricting everything to the point of not being able to even consider breaking into the music industry.”
“Joe can play guitar.”
“He's better than me, honestly, I love him so much. No, I'd say I'm better at, at drumming, than guitar, or whatever. I was better, at least.”
“Yeah, I dunno where we'd put a drum set. Y’know, Andy can play drums, too.”
“He can?”
“He's really good, actually.”
“Can you play anything, man?”
“Eh, I can kinda, like, kinda play bass.”
“Do you have one?”
“At my parents’ place.”
“Maybe we could quit the whole, um, the whole hunting business and get a singer and make a band.” Patrick paused, then frowned. “If only I could.”
“I don't see why we couldn't.”
“Do you think Joe would like to do something like that?”
“Dude, we met at metal shows. We were in a band or two, together, before we started the agency. He was, like, fourteen.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, dude! People occasionally recognize me, still, from that shit.”
Patrick grinned. “Y’know, maybe you're a little more tolerable than I thought.”
Pete smiled, then capped both of the bottles of nail polish. “Okay, so, like... don't really touch anything, for maybe, like, fifteen minutes. Just to make sure that the polish isn't fucked up.”
“Alright. Can you turn up the volume, on the TV? This is one of my favorite episodes of MASH.”
“What's MASH about?”
“It's about medics in the Korean War, this one, this one's pretty close to my heart.”
Pete turned the volume up, watching the title of “George” fade to the first real scene of the episode. Patrick watched his response nervously, how Pete seemed genuinely interested, so he went to actually watching the episode with him. Then another, and another, so glad that Pete seemed to be enjoying it. Eventually, Andy and Joe came back, and Joe curled up against him.
“I didn't know you were in a band,” Patrick mumbled, putting his head against his boyfriend's neck.
“Yeah, I was. Pete hazed me hella bad, I came home in tears a couple times. Did he tell you that?”
“Eheh, no, he just said you guys used to be in one together.”
Joe chuckled, holding Patrick close. “I'm glad that you guys are starting to not hate each other.”
“I'm glad that you told Pete to stop being a dick.”
“Hey, you weren't supposed to know about that.” Joe kissed the top of Patrick's head. “I was trying to be sneaky with that, so you could be surprised by, like, Pete being nice to you.”
Patrick laughed. “You’re really cute, Joe.”
Joe grinned, finding Patrick's hand and squeezing it, staring at his colorful nails for a moment. “You're cuter.”

Note
did patrick have any run-ins with other hunters before meeting the guys?
yes, but usually he reacted fast enough to leave before they even really noticed him, and it was incredibly rare for him to even be in an area with hunters.basically, every single move he made when faced with pete, andy, and joe was a complete mistake.

What’s Ashlee’s storyline?
shes a bit of a side character, altho i may make her more important in the future. i dont wanna show all my cards yet, so lets just say she simultaneously makes pete be more and less of an asshole than usual, eventually leaning towards the latter, and she does some cool stuff that makes the boys gain major Respect Points for her.tl;dr im not gonna give it away yet ;)

HC: Patrick’s smile scares others away due to the fangs, but Joe thinks it’s the cutest smile in the world and always tries to make Patrick happy so he can see it.
yeah!!!!!!patrick can hide them relatively easily with a straight face, so when he goes out, he tries to do so, since people tend to be more scared of the fangs than anything else. joe thinks its a lost cause, though, he really doesnt see how literally anyone would see he as anything but a vamp.his main two tactics for seeing patricks pretty smile are joking around with him and being really cuddly. usually he does a mix of both, which manages to get patrick to come out of his shell in even really difficult situations.

headcanon that a few times a year, hunters from other agencies get turned during hunts. patrick helps them cope with the shock and promises them it won’t be so bad, they’ll be okay, they won’t be a monster. when they see how caring and friendly patrick is, they know they can believe him.
this is for the hunters that arent killed immediately after being turned. the whole, like, therapy sessions have hunters surrounding both patrick and whoever was turned, making it exceptionally hard to get anything done, but, hey.people start to get a better image of vampires. its not much, but...

has patrick ever had to hurt or kill another vamp?
it comes with the job, unfortunately. he has, but it takes him a while to recover from what hes done. compared to whats upwards of hundreds for the other 3, he might be able to kill about a dozen over a full year.
killing humans (unintentionally, when he accidentally spends too much time feeding), on the other hand, doesnt take too much stress out of him.
