Valeera has never really payed attention to crushes and stuff, but the first person that gave her flutters was Varian. A sort of childish crush, he was a strong swashbuckling human who turned out to be a king and actually listened to her. But as time went on, she came to the conclusion she’d prefer him as a brother then a lover.

The palm of her hand slowly managed to work it’s way up to her face, && Jaina pinched the bridge of her nose. She couldn’t even look at Valeera. She knew exactly what her face probably looked like right now.

                                              That adorable cocky smirk, no doubt.

                ‘ I’m just grateful you don’t use such.. terms in front of someone like Anduin. ‘                   she muttered. ‘ But I’m going to dump a bucket of water on you if you ever                   call me that again. ‘

                                                        Even if her cheeks were showing a bit more colour than usual.

   A few sultry steps forward, ones that Jaina probably didn’t appreciate.      

         “ You’re meaning to tell me that you’re worried about the most powerful, young priest                               on Azeroth hearing a bit of flirting? Please Jaina, you know better than that.”      

                    A crimson talon began slowly tracing Jaina’s exposed flesh, 

 “ They’re are plenty of other things that we could do that not even I would want my                                   little brother to know about. But-  “ Valeera accentuated the word with a flick of her                                 talon against pale skin, leaving a tiny mark of red in it’s wake, “ You are surely not                               interested in those things, are you? After all, they are not becoming of a lady. “

A pregnant pause hung in the air at Valeera’s blunt question. While the mage had made many attempt to get a separate room than the blood elf, even she had to face the fact that she was in enemy territory, and trying to maintain water elemental constructs as guards would not work. It truly made her miss the Elite guards, as they were unable to assist with this particular mission due to the sensitivity required.

                           Thus was the situation. It was night; && Jaina had already slipped into                                     something much more suitable for night. The flowing nightgown with                                     matching dressing gown, adorned with the symbol of the Kirin Tor                                    was her choice, && for once she found herself awkwardly shuffling on                                    her feet.

  It almost made her want to resort back to a childhood habit of chewing on something.   Nails, ends of quills, the strands of her hair – something to deviate this silence.

                                     Finally she shook her head. ‘ No. I-I mean, it’s not exactly.. proper,                                      of a lady to share a bed with anyone, but I suppose I am hardly                                      remembered for that title any longer. ‘ She gazed away.

    Truthfully, she couldn’t find anything wrong with it. Except for one thing. Jaina     look dead straight into Valeera’s eyes.

                                          ‘ But I have to warn you, I hog the covers. ‘

     Jaina seemed to look pretty in everything she wore, something that Valeera viewed as unfair. She put quite a long time into her look when it actually mattered, but it seemed like Jaina just woke up beautiful. But of course, Valeera would never admit this out loud, her cocky self confidence was one of her best traits. 

                  “ Well I suppose we’re even then, because unless the bed is huge                                                             you’re probably going to be sleeping on the edge of it. Knowing you                                                         you’ll probably want to stay as far away from me as possible, since                                                         it’s not proper of a lady. “

    Of course, her tone rang of sarcasm, but it still remained friendly.

                                                  It was a tone Valeera had mastered at that point.

“ Besides, you probably feel exposed without guards or elementals,                                                             if it makes you feel better I’ll protect you. Or try. I tend to be a heavy sleeper in beds. “

     Perhaps it came across as too soft, but in all fairness Valeera had a soft spot for Jaina to begin with, starting with her reverence of Aegwynn, and renewing with the moment they had shared over discussing her actions of Theramore.

                                  That’s not to say of course that Valeera had forgiven her.

                                                She’d have to do far more than that..

        Paladins. Always sticking their nose places where it didn't belong                                                           “in the name of the light”. There was a long list of reasons why                                                                  Valeera found them more irritating than anything else, or maybe                                                             it was simply her inability to understand the light, how it could drive                                                         people to the extent it did.

  “ You Paladins don’t have a sense of subtlety, do you? Besides, has Lor’themar not told you                  who I am? Fair enough, I guess, considering what happened at Dalaran. ”

        It seemed like Dalaran would always leave a sour taste in Valeera’s mouth,                                           she was so close to bringing the Blood Elves away from the tyranny of Garrosh.                                   But, since the Siege her point had been null and void. Not that she minded much,                                 Vol’jin was a promising warchief, after all.

        liadrin’s vivid orbs dimmed gently at the sight of the             young sin'dorei, there was a some sort of darkness                that whispered of secrets and fel magic that followed                   the young elf. the young being seemed to have suffered                      a lot for someone at her age.

                       the matriarch had never seen this elf before, therefore                    she kept her tone cool and collected as she gave a                 quick once over at the younger sin'dorei. a gloved hand was             placed uncertainly over the hilt of her blade that hung          from her plated belt. not always her people are kind.

           still, the lady was a bit hesitant towards strangers,               the sin'dorei had came to a hard conclusion that sometimes                  you cannot trust your own kin fully. especially after the events                    of kael'thas the paladin learnt to harden both skin and heart                       towards newcomers, appearing more aloof, distant and cold.
