Hello! :) I just discovered your blog and your ao3 and I'm so excited to start reading your works! Are Shadows and Flames a continuation of Butterflies, like with the same characters and all? Do the stories have to be read in order?

Hey anon, yes they are all within the same universe. I wrote butterflies first, then shadows which is a prequel. Flames is on hiatus but is the last fic in the series I’m writing and is mostly a sequel. So I think probably it makes sense to read the fics in that order, though not essential, and they do stand alone on their own too. Btw shadows is complete but isn’t re-uploaded in its entirety yet, the finished fic is about 230k words. Hoping to get to the upload soon.
