The objective is simple: to explore and document my experiences as I prioritize my own well-being for the first time in an extended period. I’ve realized that for much of my life, I’ve operated within predefined roles—first as part of the army and later as a partner to Leena. In doing so, I lost sight of my personal identity, possibly never fully understanding who I was outside of those functions. I now acknowledge that I am entering a phase of recalibration. This space will serve as a log for my journey, an area to process my thoughts and frustrations. I will also address the feelings of alienation I’ve experienced, particularly in light of being the one to initiate the divorce. It is important to clarify that this decision, though difficult, was made after considerable analysis of the emotional status between both parties. I harbor no ill will towards Leena; rather, I am simply exhausted from repeatedly failing to accommodate her desires while being unable to be myself. I will also note the recent formation of a new connection with Marina, a widow from Pabu, whose existence I was previously unaware of. This individual has provided a new perspective, and I am inclined to continue exploring this relationship.
