my 6th try overall, I should practice drawing faces more often, I like the progress I've made

but still, I want to have a more stylized... style, tho I have a feeling it's gonna be harder for me than the semi/quarter/something realism style I got rn

so yeah, I'm not too great at coloring, tho I think I should've used more than just the airbrush for this one, it doesn't look too bad tho, but could use more hard shadows

and the first tries

this exercise was supposed to just be quick sketches like these, drawing my fav bg3 character so I could have more fun drawing, but also learn how to better draw faces

now I went more into detail, it's better but messy, especially the right one look so stiff lmao

now it got A LOT better, the left one was me tryharding a lot lmao (although the eyes made her look like a completely different character), so yeah, really went off with the quick sketch plan...

now I made a sketch, and then thin lineart on top of it, and gradually added more lineweight, and it the right one some shading

my biggest takes from this one are to carefully study the main features that make her recognizable (sharp eyes, nose shape etc), list out the mistakes you've made to keep them in mind in the next try, and to use photoshop tools more often to quickly fix small mistakes, instead of trying to redraw them 50 times lol

also to use flip canvas more, really makes you spot mistakes right out

skulls and the like, studies

I actually started this back in September, but only now got the inspiration to finish all of them, especially the one on the bottom

this one has the most detail and is the most recent one, so I like it the most lmao

the flat color ones look well... flat now compared to the previous one

this one has the best proportions of all the hands... flesh or not, hands are difficult to draw

gonna draw full-fledged skeletons soon :> (more skulls first tho lmao)

wow, this took like… a month? two? I mean, with some long breaks in between, but still

I learned so much, struggled so much, but it was worth it, I really love how it turned out

finished it about two months ago, but I still love to go back to it and look at all the details, I learned so much, really, while making this piece, it was amazing

but, coming back to who she is, well, she’s lore connected to The Grand Father, she’s ��alive’ again thanks to him, but that’s all for now

she mostly attacks with her metal pipe, stabbing with the sharp end of it; she’s not really strong, but she’s tall and fast and can use it to her advantage; there’s also the teeth - if she happens to grab you, she might put your arm between her teeth and 'bite’ it off

finally decided to try out working in grayscale and then gradient map

two other ones, cuz I wanted to play around with different colors

definitely like the side profile, kinda the easiest one

the front, kinda hard since it has to be symmetrical and the eye size gives me a lot of trouble

3/4, thought it'd be harder, was quite fun

so uh yeah, I'm not the best at drawing humans, especially faces, but this game has consumed me completely and I couldn't help myself lmao

I had to make a fanart of one of the characters, and since I'm playing as him currently, so I figured, why not?

this time I used a brush that blends easily, but bc of that I think the colors I used on his face blend too much and I should've used more darker colors; well, a lesson for another time, I'm done fucking around trying to fix his face, I really need to take some anatomy lessons before drawing a human

but still, it was a lot of fun and I definitely learned some more things about drawing people, which I don't have much experience with

additional stuff, first one is 3 of a lot of changes I've made to his face, since I struggled with it the most, I know it still isn't perfect, but I guess it's not the worst

then the 'no hair' version lmao, kinda looks like a cenobite or some shit

then the sketch; it was supposed to be just a sketch, but of course my brainrot would not have it and I had to go all the way with it

then the transparent version, I didn't have the energy for full blown background, so I decided to use the game logo for it

quite simple and I finished it in one day, damn I was fast back then (only a few months ago lmao)

played around with a brush I think I downloaded from somewhere? I'm not sure, but anyway, it's called 'chalk' and I use it a lot, it's quite handy!

This one is quite cute and simple, but this blog will have more horror themed works, hope you guys won't mind ^^
