I quickly found my favorites, but I can’t say I ever discovered anything that I didn’t like at all. It gets better after you pick up a few powerups like increased blast damage for rockets or quicker firing rate for sniper rifles, though. The practical solution to this is to voice my displeasure at mod authors use of adf.ly and other sites and to hopefully get others that share my views to speak up. What infuriates me are the mod authors that break their mod into 5+ different parts then force you to download each part through adfly when each part is only a few kilobytes. Otherwise if they insist on using garbage/spyware/adware sites like adfly they should also provide a direct link to the download and let the downloader choose whether they want to support by using the adfly link or instead use the direct download link. If a mod author wants money for their work, then I suggest a donate link though one of the many websites that support that service. Be proactive, and a part of the solution to the problem that so obviously irks you.

I don't remember the last time I saw an ad. Also, all of those problems regarding ads and malware can be completely bypassed by installing a simple ad blocker. This is the wrong thread to be posting this.
