reasons Matsuda is a great fucking character

he lightens up the mood that’s kinda important sometimes in dn

he’s a cutie

he’s also hot i’d tap that

fly booty

he’s a badass

he has great aim damn

he deals with L’s shit 

without punching him in the face 

not that i’d blame him if he did (no offense i luv L) 

he actually deals with everyones shit without punching them in the face

except for Light (he actually shot him but same difference) 

shit went down you don’t fuck with Matsuda

L is gone the Kira case is done and he still has to deal with Near’s shit god bless you 

he’s also kind of an ass especially to Ide

L is 2tsuntsun to admit that Matsuda had a big impact on the Yotsuba case 

he stayed with the Kira case knowing Kira kills anyone who goes after him

he stayed while he was still a newbie police officer

I think Matsuda kinda sucked. like most of the characters suck so this isn't unique, but I don't see him as a reasonable or particularly heroic guy. I think he's way more interesting if you let him be a little morally grey. Let him be weak enough to be suckered by Kira's doctrine, let him shake holding that gun, let him shoot only because of Soichiro, not because he gives a fuck about the other 300K or whatever victims, let him make endless conspiracy theories to try and justify the mass murderer. it's more funnnn
