How Ingo and Emmet make Bentos for you

Whether it be for a picnic, or for work, or as a surprise for you. 

Ingo

You’ve likely made lunches for him in the past, and he loves every single one of them, and now with this rare opportunity, he wants to do something similar for you. 

He came up with the idea to make a character bento while scrolling around for good lunches and lunch combinations. Afterwards he went to look up a few videos because he wanted to get it right. And drew plans for it. 

The pokemart people still talk about how Ingo, nervous Ingo who was running around with colorful ideas and nervous about his first time making bentos for someone, his stiff face as he asked attendants their opinions on a certain nori cutter or searching for something with litwick or Chandelure themes. (It’s quite tough to find blue colored food, you know?) 

in the end he had laid out quite a collection of cute little bento equipment at the cashier, his stony face and gleaming eyes staring into the poor worker’s soul as they checked out each item. 

He had exactly the same face when the equipment was laid out, yet again, only on the kitchen table. 

Chandelure hovers nearby, ready to help her trainer. 

Ingo’s Bentos are very well segmented, thoughtful, and surprisingly cute. 

It’s all of your favorite foods too, balanced and as healthy and as tasty as he could make it. He even tries to make a little rice ball in the shape of your face, and likely makes another one in the shape of his own, complete with a little triangle nose (it’s actually more like a mouth, but it still works). He tried to make a Chandelure one, but failed due to how elaborate it would have to be. That one he ate himself. 

If you have a favorite Pokémon, it’s likely in there too, 

Since it’s his first time, things might be a bit wonky, or not quite packed in that well, causing some things to shift, but it’s lovely and delicious. 

He’s also probably packed in some sort of dessert. 

Ingo sighs as he puts the final touches, not seeing what he might be able to add to it without making it look too busy. He hopes you like it. 

Emmet

oh this was his plan from the start. He likely saw bentos while randomly searching the internet  and saw someone make a joltik bento. He saved the video and has been wanting to try it out for a loooong time. 

Now he has a chance! Now is his time to repay you for the lovely lunches you always make him. He likely has sketches of what he wants to do for you. 

In the store, he’ll grab anything and everything off the shelf that he fancies. He’ll also be asking any shop attendants which cutter is cuter, or where are the joltik themed equipment. He’s pretty excited so the grin on his face is a little wider and his eyes are perhaps a bit larger. It’s enough to get some people a little nervous until they see he’s just buying bento equipment. Adorable bento equipment at that. 

When it comes to the actual making, he’s quite precise, everything has its place, its position and its purpose. The art is pretty great, actually. 

Lots of cute things are added, a little character of him holding a heart out to the viewer, stars, happy triangles, railway tracks, a train in the background, an immaculate joltik. 

This is ruined slightly because its just all of your favorite foods and with less attention to health, more deliciousness. He wants you to be happy. And indulgence once in a while is fine, right? (Tbh with him it’s sometimes more than once in a while)  It’s likely packed to the brim of food you’d like. Segmented of course so that the food doesn’t run together too much. 

He’s also snacking while he’s doing this in between shooing the joltiks who are curious and also want snacks. 

Emmet is likely vibrating in excitement, a proud grin on his face at his work. He hopes you looove it! Or at least feel all the love he’s put into it. All for you!

For those that make imagines, you're great and thank you for the food but can y'all please stop using 'F/O' to mean 'romantic F/O' in y'all's imagines posts, please?

It's really frustrating seeing all these posts that say "imagine your F/O ♡" but it's actually only applicable and aiming towards romantic or maybe queerplatonics at most but really it's geared toward romantic.

'F/O' should not inherently mean romantic.

'Fictional other' should not inherently mean romantic.

Romantic should not be the default.

Maybe I'm just "too aromantic" but please it's just.... it's very disheartening, seeing the way the selfship community reflects IRL society where romance is considered the default expectation, the default ideal standard of what type of relationship is implied.

Not everyone has romantic f/os. Not everyone has just romantic f/os. Some of us have family and friends too. It doesn't take much effort to be specific about what type of f/o you're talking about in your imagine like saying, "Imagine your romantic f/o" instead of just "imagine your f/o".

Maybe I'm alone on this.

If so, fine. At least I've said what I needed to say. But stars please just... really hoping at least someone sees this and changes their method so others are less likely to feel that cold wash of disappointment when reading another "imagine your f/o" posts with no upfront descriptor words for the type of f/o OP is talking about.

Dont panic, we're okay. Which may seem impossible right now but nothing will happen. I'm very glad you guys are staying alert but don't stress yourselves out. Please try and follow this stuff logically with me, don't start worrying until you see multiple sources and people talking about said horrible thing or anxiety inducing topic and it becomes a nation wide issue. Take a break from social media if you have to. Block tags and unfollow people that stress you out. It's okay, you have every right too.

Take a deep breath and lean against your f/o(s), they got you. Put on your headphones, block out any voices and worries you have. Go to church, say a prayer, meditate, seek religious guidance/comfort, book a closer therapy appointment, draw your selfships or write about it. I have a bunch for you to look for :3

anything that will make you feel better. It will be okay for you, as long as you let it be okay. Your f/o(s) will never think you're weak or stupid for having this many worries and this much anxiety.

Nimbasa Trio with a s/o that cosplays! I have a part two with other characters coming soon, but feel free to request more for this prompt or a similar one because as a cosplayer this was really fun to write!

Ingo

To outsiders, at a glance, it may seem like Ingo is indifferent about your hobby. But obviously, that isn't the case! Cosplay is something he didn't know a lot about until meeting you. Sure he always thought it was interesting, but the more he learns the more invested in it he becomes!

He's always interested in what you are working on and if you need help, he's happy to assist! That extends further than just helping with the actual cosplay too. One time he woke up around midnight to find you sitting at the table almost in tears because you needed the costume done tomorrow and you were so tired that you sewed the sleeves on inside out and you still needed to sew the trim on too. After that, he decided to help keep you on schedule with your projects, reminding you of deadlines and not letting you procrastinate too long.

If you beg him, he will cosplay with you. But he would much rather watch you do your thing. He has the highest title a cosplayer can bestow upon a non-cosplayer: Cosplay Handler. That means he's in charge of holding your things while you get pictures taken, adjusting pieces of your costume that you can't reach or see easily, helping you around when you can't see easily, etc. You don't even have to ask him to do these things, he's happy to support you and keep you safe! Hearing you brag about how amazing he still makes him blush though.

On the topic of keeping you safe, he insists on doing safety checks when you're going to be wearing a cosplay all day. Taking breaks to eat, drink water, and take uncomfortable shoes off for a few minutes are mandatory with him around. He hates when your costume isn't appropriate for the weather, so he will be prepared to give you a blanket for the cold or a fan for the heat the second he notices you're starting to be uncomfortable.

He doesn't care if you buy your cosplay or make it, he thinks you're amazing either way. Even the "easy" parts of the hobby take some level of skill. If anyone wants to talk shit, he has an argument ready to support you and any creative decisions you made.

Emmet

Anything he knew about the hobby before meeting you was sort of through cultural osmosis. He's so excited to learn more about cosplaying and see you express yourself!

One time he thought about getting frisky while you were in cosplay and you had to put him in horny jail. Cosplays are too expensive and sometimes too fragile for that sort of thing. Once you point out that it could easily ruin something you worked so hard on, he apologizes and doesn't try again. Plus he eventually learned that even when you are getting out of a costume... it isn't sexy. You're obviously tired, a little sweaty and likely wearing extra layers for the sake of modesty. He may try to see if you would consider getting a cheap and simple costume just for the bedroom though.

He insists on helping you as much as possible. Even if he doesn't fully understand what's going on and you have to give him easy jobs like combing a wig or holding part of a prop while you paint it. As he learns more about techniques and materials though he'll start to talk to you about different approaches you could take. Sometimes he brings up something interesting and his ideas make the project easier. If you start to fall behind schedule on finishing a cosplay he will stay awake with you, keeping you company and doing what he can to help get things done faster.

If you want him to cosplay with you, he will! However, he's very picky about what he'll wear so it may not be something you do often. Like Ingo, he's an excellent cosplay handler. He jokes about you being royalty and him being a servant. I can imagine him getting a tee-shirt that says "Official Cosplay Handler" to wear whenever he goes to events with you. He uses the title you lovingly gave him to nag you about taking care of yourself when you're in cosplay for long periods of time.

Doesn't matter if you buy or make your cosplay, he supports you and does not tolerate any negative comments made about you or your creative decisions. He shuts them down quickly, not even trying to be polite. If people are stupid enough to continue to talk shit, you may have to drag him away before he starts a fight.

Elesa

She's so excited to learn you're a cosplayer! She knows a little more about the hobby than most since she's a model but she's thrilled to have an excuse to indulge in seeing more behind the scenes.

You have all the help and resources you could ever want with her around. If you try to tell her that you don't want to seem like you're taking advantage of her connections, she argues that it isn't taking advantage of it if she's the one offering. On the other hand, she does love to see what you can do without help, especially if you can find a way to recycle materials and clothes. She loves your creativity and your dedication to trying and keeping things eco-friendly.

Please let her cosplay with you. She wants to so badly! You don't even have to do all the work in making it, she wants to help with that too! Hopefully you consider going supply shopping a cute date idea cause she's already planning where to shop and where to go eat afterward. She loves getting into cosplay with you and may ask you to do her make up if it's something outside her comfort zone. Makeup and wigs are her favorite part of the whole thing because she gets to look like someone else. She gets to be a nerd in a costume and not just a model.

Even if she isn't cosplaying with you all the time, she insists on setting up photoshoots for you. She says you worked too hard and look too good to just not have professional pictures done.

Unforentually, Elesa may not earn the title of Cosplay Handler easily since she wants to cosplay with you. She looks out for you and takes care of you the way a handler does, and you do the same for her. But if you plan to wear something that will absolutely require you to have a handler because it will restrict your vision or movement, she'll wear a more lowkey cosplay so that she can focus on keeping you safe.

People probably don't give you a hard time about your cosplay with her around. She makes sure that you get the compliments and praise you deserve by pointing out the things you made. If someone wants to talk shit about your cosplay being store-bought she'll tell them all about the hard work that goes into researching companies to buy from, alterations that needed to be made, and the fact that modeling the cosplay and having fun matter the most. She tries to be nice about it, but it still comes off as threatening. Elesa loves you and is proud of you so she will defend you from idiots like that.

This might be an odd one but how about Emmet and Ingo (seperatley) from Pokemon having a crush scenario?

How does Subway Boss Emmet and Ingo react to having a crush?

It surprises ingo to form a crush and would need time to settle his feelings and wanting to know his crush better. Ingo seems to look after his crush, he wants to be the one they came to when in trouble or need as he’s good in giving advice and encouragement. It doesn’t help, Emmet teases him over the crush and pushes him to ask his crush out. When approaching his crush, Ingo is straight-forward in asking them out and when they agree, he gives them a genuine smile with Emmet in the back grinning. 

Emmet, unlike his brother, is more expressive and hyper with his crush. He’s the guy that when he falls in love, he falls hard. Emmet approaches his brother for advice on how he can win over his crush. When he’s in a battle, he’ll show off to his crush when he wins and gets embarrassed when he loses thinking his crush must think low of him now. Emmet may act confident but he’s nervous and at one point, will mess up when flirting with them. When he asks his crush out and they agree, it takes all of Emmet’s energy not to hug them tight instead, he’ll run to Ingo to tell him the news.

Can we have Ingo comforting the reader during a storm?

It was just a storm. It wasn’t going to hurt you. Just light and noise. You were safe. No amount of telling yourself that kept you from leaping out of your skin at every blinding flash that lit up your room and every crackling boom that shook the walls. You sat in your bedroom, a trembling heap of blanket curled up in the middle of your bed.

It was dark. The overhead light and the TV had provided some comfort before the power abruptly went out. The storm had full reign on your nerves then. You had quickly retreated to your bedroom and threw the blanket over your head. Your eyes squeezed shut and your hands covered your ears to desperately drown out the turbulent weather.

Your eyes cracked open during a quiet moment to see a floating ray of light cast over you. It moved forward. The edge of the bed dipped as new weight was added. Something gently touched your shoulder.

“I thought you might have been asleep…” A familiar voice spoke. “But you’re too shaky for that. You pulled the blanket away to see Ingo sitting on the edge of the bed. His face was illuminated by the glow of the flashlight that now sat on the mattress. He kept his hand on your shoulder. It carried a pleasant warmth. “The power went out at the gear station as well. The generators didn’t kick in so we were all told to head home until the power returns.” His mouth opened to continue speaking but he was cut off by another bright flash of lightning that made the room glow. You went back under the blanket and braced for the rumbling and crackling resonance that soon followed it. You could hear Ingo hum thoughtfully after the racket passed. The weight on the bed shifted and the mass that was suddenly at your side told you that he had laid down beside you. “Would it help if I talked to you? I do have a bit of gossip to share…” He laughed as you nodded enthusiastically underneath the blanket. While not one to partake himself, he knew how much you liked listening when Emmet went on about the latest happenings among the depot agents. It was like listening to a soap opera he had to admit. He began to speak. You listened. Tales of an epic love triangle happening right under the noses of the people who worked at and frequented the gear station captivated your attention. Rebecca was trying to flirt with Carl but was completely oblivious to the attentions of Jonathan. In a surprising twist, Carl might like Jonathan but is too shy to say anything. It’s obvious to everyone when Carl and Jonathan take lunched together, but the moment Rebecca shows up, Carl looks like a kicked puppy, Jonathan is beaming at Rebecca, and Rebecca is desperately trying to chat up Carl. Unfortunately, it comes off as Rebecca trying to keep Carl included but secretly wants him to leave. It’s such a mess. Ingo and Emmet have wondered why they have not come clean and formed a polycule but have determined the possibility that communication is not a strong point for any of them. Ingo wonders if they should run a job performance evaluation on them since communication is such an important part of being a depot agent and interacting with the public. Emmet is against it since conveying feelings to your peers is very different from public relations… You had only noticed the storm had passed when the overhead light came on and the TV in the living room came to life since you had the volume up to attempt to drown out the storm. You and Ingo both scrambled off the bed and into the living room. Ingo beat you to the remote and lowered the volume. You both stood there and laughed. “That’s the end of the storm…” Ingo smiled looking up at the lights on the ceiling. It didn’t take long for his phone to begin to buzz. He looked at it and his smile faded slightly as he answered. “Subway Master Ingo… Yes… Yes, the power just came on here as well. Oh? Yes. That sounds like the safest option. Thank you for updating me.” Ingo hung up the phone and looked to you. “Seems they want to keep the gear station down until the issue with the generators is figured out in case the power blinks off again. Care to watch a movie with me? I can make popcorn.” The rest of the evening was spent watching some flick that was picked at random. It was more of an excuse to just sit together and enjoy one another’s company with snacks. That suited you just fine.
